Celtic v Hibs in January moved back 2 days without a Hibs agreement, Hibs not happy

They can play hibs Monday and a game in hand on the Thursday. Leicester are currently playing Fulham and play euroa league game on Thursday. So moving th game to the Monday shouldn’t rule out a Thursday night game.

Fixtures

G1 Subject to Rule C42, all League Match fixtures shall be specified by the Board in a fixture schedule prior to the commencement of the Season following consultation with the Scottish FA.

G2 Subject to the terms of any Commercial Contract and any other consideration which the Board considers material, League Matches shall normally be played on Saturday afternoons, and Clubs so far as reasonably practicable shall be a Home Club on one week and a Visiting Club the next.

G3 Subject to Rule C42, the Board shall have discretion to schedule and to reschedule the date, time and/or venue of any Official Match as it shall consider appropriate.

G4 Where reasonably practicable the Board shall consult with and shall take into account any representations made by participating Clubs before rescheduling the date, time and/or venue of an Official Match.

G5 Each Club shall comply with and play in the relevant fixtures comprised in the fixture schedule determined by the Board and any rescheduled date, time and/or venue determined from time to time by the Board for Official Matches in which the Club is a participant.

G6 So far as reasonably practicable the fixture schedule in the League and other league Competitions operated by the Company shall require Clubs to play equal numbers of home and away matches

Postponement and International Selection G7

A Club shall be entitled to apply to the Board for the postponement of any Official Match where three or more of its Players who would otherwise have participated in such match are unavailable through international selection and, following receipt of such an application, the Board may postpone and rearrange the relevant Official Match in accordance with Rule G3.

Football and Competition Rules

C42 The Season shall not in any calendar year commence prior to 31 July in that year and the Board shall not schedule the first League Match of any Season to take place prior to 31 July in any year.

Then they have move their next game - Livingston home to the Sunday if they wanted to do that

11th Jan Hibs
14th Jan
17th Jan Livingston
 
They are planning on a massive covid outbreak before the game with us meaning it will be postponed and they will all be out of isolation for the new hibs date

I know I'm taking the piss, but they are up to something
 
Maybe it’s so all his friends in dressing room can attend Lennon’s leaving party after we turn them over in the NY game.

Thing is though a precedent has been set so they would be taken to court.

It wouldn’t matter if it was less than 29 games. That’s the point we need to get for the precedent. Anything less and they could say not enough games been played and if the clubs vote for void there’s nothing a court could do
 
Why does it have to move if Celtic want it? The SPFL should have said no, simple as that.

Why are Hibs being treated like 2nd class citizens here?

Hibs actually have more of a right to demand the game is played on the day that the SPFL arranged.

Something strange going on here, and no doubt time will tell us why this bending of the rules has happened.

If true they are planning a training camp in Dubai - nothing wrong with that

But in doing so asked Hibs to move the game back to the 11th Hibs said no but the SPFL/Celtic have moved it regardless to allow them an extra couple of days in Dubai
 
Wondering if the agreement was made behind Dempster's back.

They will be up to something - they are scheming scum. The truth will come out at some point.

At the end of the day it is all about Rangers and what we do - keep our focus and we are unstoppable.

Hibs have not agreed to the change but Dungcaster just agrees to it

Sums up the stranglehold Lieswell has in our league

I think it's obvious. The Tims need to get their postponed games played at some point. They have decided that they would like to play one of them on the Thursday, Jan 7th, after the OF game and then give their squad an extra couple of days to recover before playing the Hibs game.

Edit: Assuming that we get to the League Cup semi, our league game against Ross County will be moved. We should ask for the same thing as the Tims, to have our league game against Aberdeen to be moved on the Monday and we'll play Ross County on the Thursday.
 
So you now have Hearts, Aberdeen and Hibs who have all called the football authorities out as being incompetent in the last few months.

Hope we are still working on the background to get them removed
