Really pleased with the new guys as well. Goss didn't break sweat and I think Murphy is still going to be an excellent player. Cummingswill get his chances and do well and Martin was solid at the back.

What is more important. We now look like we're putting a good SQUAD together, not just a starting 11.
 
Great result , what a difference going forward now , much more direct and with purpose Tav , Fod and Goss were outstanding .GIRUY sheep!
 
Now that was more like it.

Great spirit and work rate, played as a team. we were well under full strength as well.
 
It was the Tav and Wes show for the last 10 minutes but besides a 5 minute spell first half and the last part a well deserved win which could/should have been by more.

Absolutely buzzing after that. The 'Blue Cafu' tonight, for sure. What a performance from him.

Have to say I was a bit nervous before the game but judging by comments on FF seemed a really impressive performance

Well done the teddy bears!! Solid all round performance from the boys in royal blue. Superb game by Tav in particular. MOTM for me ahead of Candeias and Wes who both also impressed. I thought we were solid defensively also we maybe shouldn’t have given the Sheep the chances we did. We also played some lovely flowing stuff going forward only to be let down by some poor finishing. A wee bit sharper in the final third and it could have been a more comprehensive win. Windass in particular unlucky twice not to get on the scoresheet. But the victory will do me.

We laid down a marker tonight. We’re now unquestionably in second place, the sheep are back to their normal place of the third team in Scottish football... it’s time now to reel in the temporary leaders!

Good result with Doherty still to come in and multiple players injured. Really think we can kick on now and start putting a run of games together
 
Overall a very pleasing result and a decent performance. Bizarrely the back 4 managed to play fairly well and yet we’re indebted to Wes for pulling off a few terrific saves to ensure the win.
 
We lost a bit of shape when Cummings came on. Annoyingly I think he would've buried a couple of the Morelos chances in the first half.
 
Brilliant performance.

Hope Fredo is angry at himself and not the sub - great goal but missed 3 sitters. Cummings looks gallas - opposing fans are going to hate him.

Bit ropey in defence a few times. At least 4 point blank saves required where better strikers wouldn’t have put it near Wes.

The 3 new signings all had a really solid debut.

Tav was outstanding. Good positioning from Wes for the saves.

Thoroughly deserved win tonight. The lads played very well indeed.

Hope Joe Lewis is ok though, never nice seeing a player go off in those circumstances. Kenny Mclean was their best player by an absolute mile. Beyond that we were superior in every single position.

Given the amount of injuries we have at the moment that was really heartening. Good debuts all round too, Martin looked composed, Goss seemed completely at home, Murphy gives us the balance we'd been crying out for. Add Docherty and it's a really really promising second half of the season in store.
 
That was a good footballing performance. Some fantastic passing moves and then great defending when required.
Why though do the refs seem to be still in the 70’s.

He was putting in effort, eager to get involved. He didn't seem to hit top gear, had a few flashes on the left corner of the 18 yarder, cutting inside. Just needed to make sweet contact and hit the target.
All in all more positive than negative.
Candieas right hand side took the lions share of attacks, fully backed by Tav. Goss brilliant through the middle.
Windass productive, but needs to pull the opposition closer before slipping the ball past them and giving an extra yard to our attack.

Not very well tonight so it was hard to follow. But delighted we won and seemingly played well too

McIness with his pants pulled down again.
 
Great result, fantastic defending from us and we could have added a few more.

Fod and tav were incredible,couldn't pick motm between them.
 
Candeias was immense also, just ran out of steam a little in last 20min.

Gav and Wes were different gravy. If I’m being overly critical, it was a little nervy with how easily they created chances at time.......amazing result all in all

Cant wait for the septic game now, they will be shitting it.

Superb result rangers!

Murty is building a good team and more importantly a good squad. The players look happy,all pulling in the one direction and they give the impression they'll run through brick walls for their team mates and for the manager.

Even the subs. You see them at the side willing the 11 on the park on. It's great to see

Special mention to fod and tav. He really needs signed up on a new deal.

Let's get some momentum going and do on Sunday what we've struggled with all season. Beat the shite

Particularly pleased with the overall defence tonight.
 
Brilliant performance by the bears. Fully committed and should of scored a few more. wes, tav, goss ,john, brilliant.Hard to pick any favourites every single player played well.

Noticed that as well but don’t see it as a bad thing the guy obviously doesn’t like being subbed!
Thought he should have scored at least another 1 in the first half but he put in some shift and deserved the ovation he got

Think Cummings has to be played with Morelos. We lost our way after el buffalo went off but Cummings didn’t do much wrong. Early days and you can’t blame us for being tired plus they had a full 90 mins more than us under their belt. It’s strange to feel genuinely puzzled as to what our best MF will be when Jack, Ross and Dorrans are back. So many options now.
