Racist Kudela given 10 game ban, Kamara 3 games (all discussion here)

Best thing about this is that Kudela will miss Slavia's quarter finals & beyond this season, will miss the opportunity to go to the Euros and will miss Slavia's CL qualifiers next season so at least it's important games he's missing.

3 match ban for reacting to being racially abused is a joke.

I think he has to be listed on the team lines for the game for it to count as one of his banned games.

At least that used to be the rule and was the argument used against Legia Warsaw when they played the ineligible player against the scum for 2 minutes of a Champions League qualifier. The Poles thought he had served his ban but UEFA said that as he hadn’t been listed for the previous game it didn’t count as one of his suspended games. They were given a 3-0 defeat resulting in them going out when they had won the tie 6-1 on aggregate.
 
Depending on the source there seems to be a bit of confusion over what Kamara was banned for. Some places stating it's for his actions on the pitch and some for actions after the game

Uefa have said Kudela served his ban for the Arsenal game, so if that’s true then Slavia must have done that.

If the player is injured during the ban all it would take is the club doctors saying “he’s fit” and the club putting him on the paper then.
 
Forget Kudela

That club called Glen Kamara a liar

They released multiple statements

They refused to apologise over 2 hours pitchside

They should be removed and its a scandal that more is not being said or done on this

Absolutely disgusting outcome, UEFA had their chance to make a serious statement , he's guilty- instead - your a naughty boy sit on the step for 10 games then your ok. What about the club's criminal behaviour.....

Kamara should get himself a new lawyer then, he thought it was the maximum.

I think it would have been better for Glen if he'd punched Kudela in the face when the incident happened, or at least on the field of play. The fact he has sought Kudela out after the game to assault him has complicated matters.
I really wish now Glen had been in a frame of mind to listen to SG, and walk off the field with the rest of his Rangers team mates. This is no criticism of Glen. He must have been so angry at receiving racist abuse and far from thinking logically.

Yeah, to be fair, the lawyer seems like the guy that truck our brilliant deal with Sports Direct that King and co were claiming a victory over... only to find all sorts of clauses everywhere.

His first statement had Kudela's name wrong 2 or 3 times.
Didn't know the ban was the minimum enforceable etc
 
Given the number of European matches nowadays, 10 matches is nowhere near enough. 2 matches v Arsenal, 2 CL qualifiers and 6 group matches if they qualify. That's it. Not much of a deterrent really. It should be a 4 year ban for blatant racism like this, regardless of the number of matches played. That's what it would effectively be if you played for a club which regularly got pumped out in the qualifiers, but play for a club which is of a decent standard and your ban is over in a matter of months. Pathetic.

Of course it may all have been proved but can't help thinking it was nothing more than a political move to give each party a bit of what they wanted.
 
Well I guess what it does confirm is that Glen did indeed hammer the racist pr!ck afterwards? Which is nice!

The Slavia bots on Twitter are claiming Glen went to a 'reconciliation meeting', punched Kudela in the face and left. I want to hear our version of this.

No he doesn't miss the Euros it's club competition so if he's still here in the summer he misses the first 2 games on the CL qualifier and then the 1st leg of playoff round.

It's Kudela that misses the Euros.
