My first hero too John. I was born in 62.
ANOTHER whippersnapper!
I was born in 1954 and I was lucky enough to see the Ritchie, Shearer, Caldow etc team, so I had a team full of heroes to choose from. But Colin Stein was something else.
Do you have any of rangers returning to renfrew airport from russia. I very vaguely remember this.
Great memories! That’s my first scarf on the lad in the centre. I used to wear it at games in 1961 and when I went to the BB’s on a Friday night. It made me feel so proud.
Outstanding skill Andy. The one above is particularly impressive, given you are able to retain the fine stitching detail in the shirt. Fantastic pictures.

As a side point, I received for a Christmas present a wonderful book called “The Colour Of Time” which shows colourised pictures of historical events and characters from the 1880s to the 1960s. The skill and effort which goes into this is magnificent, so hat is duly doffed.
Andy is my design guy for my small business, he has added a lot of value to it
