Arsenal withdraw interest in Tierney

Timmy are raging just now because of this right back fiasco , some of the comments on KDS are brilliant.

To be honest I,d file this entire saga under shite.
Same here mate , it suited Arsenal to be in the market for high valued player . This is the very club that said their top striker was on route to sign for Chelsea . When I truth he was going to see a specialist . Unreal the lengths they will go to .

Here is how it probably went.

Arsenal instruct agent to look for LB
Agent asks Celtic how much for Tierney
Celtic give them price
Agent gives Arsenal player recommendations and prices
Arsenal Piss themselves laughing and say we aren't interested
Hollicom feed the fools the line "Arsenal in for Tierney"
Arsenal have better things to do than respond to every transfer rumour
Hollicom tell the fools, Napoli might be also be looking, Celtic won't sell for less than £25m
2 weeks of deflection ends with
Arsenal walk away
Celtic claim a victory in that they didn't accept a mythical bid
Deflection works to an extent
Timmy lap up the "we aren't selling KT line"
Everyone is happy bar the families of the victims they are deflecting from.

My take. Tierney has hip problems, needs perhaps 6 months out for recuperation.Still a potential long career ahead. Robertson and van Dijk left for lowish fees (by normal England standards) and are now capable of playing for any team in Europe. Arsenal don't want to pay too much up front (probably less than £15m) in case Tierney doesn't achieve the standards of VvD or AR. Celtic want to sell him to raise cash and I suspect he wants to earn 2 or 3x his paedophile wages.
He'll go for an undisclosed fee (record for a defender etc, etc).

It's funny but a bit of perspective though. This could go 2 ways
Ideal they mutents have a unhappy stroppy left back who down tools

Or they could have a fit again playing out his skin for more suiters to try and get money for plus they will want say 30m for spotty choco hips. Remember to EPL clubs 30m is like 5m unless your arsenal that is

...or they could have a perma injured player on their hands.

Hearing that chinese mob that want Gareth Bale want Tierney as well going to offer him the same deal as Bale.
Don’t shoot the messenger

‘Biscuit Hips’ Tierney is f**ked’.

In saying that, I sincerely hope he plays in whatever Old Firm game that puts us in prime position to win the league this season.

While this is true with the English window closing before the qualifiers are finished they have to make a decision to sell before they find out if they qualify or not.

Even if they get a winnable tie Lawwell will play it safe and sell a key player just to be on the safe side. That’s why they were desperate to get Tierney out the door he was the insurance policy.

Lawwell won’t risk his £2.5 million bonus.

And probably Desmond will drive it in terms of getting a return on his investment too.

Mugs on Clyde spewing about how happy they are to "keep him".

On a related "mug" topic, one mentally challenged claimed Paul McStay tuned down millions from Juventus, to stay at the piggery.

They are not normal.

What right back fiasco?

They cant get one to sign ...

Tierney is a decent player but seems serious serious doubts about this injury and his ability to return to full fitness.

the tims in work are raging they aint getting big money and have signed the other 3m boy ... who appears unable to defend.

The word I'm hearing down here from several Arsenal fans is that the deal was agreed for UP TO £25m, but the problem was how it was to be paid.

Arsenal wanted it heavily based upon appearance money, due to concerns about his chocolate hips. A four year deal with £5m upfront and a further £5m each season if he plays more than 30 games.

Celtc wanted £15m up front and £2.5m for each season he played 20 games OR Arsenal qualified for the CL.

In fairness if that's true it's hardly surprising the poets knocked it back.

I think he'll be at Arsenal before the window closes for 'undisclosed fee'.

That’s the perfect description of Tierney

Especially if he is a modern day Daniel Prodan and they want to cash in, as they know that he will never play 30 games a season - anywhere.

Does he not still have to pass a medical.
Surely the medical is the stumbling block for the deal.
Or do clubs pay millions of pounds now for players who cannot even train?

There seems to be a lot of misinformation flying around regarding this player and it is impossible to determine fact from fiction.
IMHO.

The mentally challengeds pulled out a transfer for a player who needed minor surgery before an injury got worse.
Arsenal pulled out a transfer for a player with serious injury problems who has missed months and who nobody knows when they will be fit again.

Very true. Something gets posted on here and it's taken as truth. If he was as crooked as we are led to believe Arsenal wouldn't offer 5p up front let alone £5m.

Still vague comments coming out of the piggery about when he'll be able to start pre season training.

If it was only a double hernia that had been the problem, as they claim, he would've been back in light training weeks ago.

Major fitness issues still surrounding him and I personally will be absolutely delighted if wee papish face never kicks a ball again.

Wouldn't normally wish that on any professional sportsman, but these c***s were hell bent on destroying us, so %^*& every single one of them.

I know tims who are convinced it's nothing to do with his fitness issues. It's, seriously, the EPL bubble in the process of bursting.

Yeah, and they are still waiting for the first person from the thousands involved in the moon landings to break free from the conspiracy of silence to declare that it was a government hoax filmed in a hanger in the middle of New Mexico.
The Filth support seems to be full of such people.

did the mhedia just make it up about there being 3 bids when in fact it was 2. What else are they lying about?? the value of said bid? would make sense.

I think it's related to the terms Arsenal insisted on as regards medical, deposit and how payment is structured.
Yep they are not daft. Celtic wanted 25k in the hand up front but no way Arsenal would do that on their limited budget for an injured and injury prone player who also has to still prove he can step up to EPL level week in week out.

Guy at work today told me that he has a friend who has another friend who mixes with the Celtic board. I know. I know. It all sounds very tenuous.

Anyone this friend texted him info this morning from the ITK friend who said that Lennon has been told to halve the player budget.
My colleague swears by this ITK guy who told them months before it happened that Rodgers was going.

I've posted before but I'm friendly with one of tierneys family. The interest from arsenal was real can't comment on the bids as they didn't know but by all accounts Tierney wanted to go.

Well knock me down with a feather, Hollicom FC will spin this out and the mythical £25m bids

Laughable stuff

Story online in the Herald
the mhanky mhob will be raging they have played poker and lost ha ha ha ha no doubt lemmon will come out with we had no intention of selling him I right :D
