Celtic face threat of multimillion pound compensation claim(The Times)

That female from the BBC interviewing McGuire had only one thing on her mind and that was to attempt to discredit anyone who says that Celtic are involved with the Boys Club. Would be interesting to know who instructed her to question McGuire in that manner.
It was a disgraceful attempt to distort the truth. A proper journalist should be attempting to discover the truth.

I think that someone was suggesting further back that she is known to be 'celtc-minded'.

Surely that case alone blows their whole separate entity line out the water?

They've accepted and admitted liability here.

I've no idea of the ins and outs of it all to he honest. Others would be far better positioned to comment.

I heard someone say the same lawyer had failed in another case but again, I don't know what differences in law there might have been. (I also haven't seen it verified there was a another case. There might well have been but can't say for certain)

Just listened to the clip posted above

Who was the female asking the loaded questions from. BBC Scotland?

Her questions were a disgrace.

Trying to support the ‘separate entity’ lie.

Disgusting to think the victims were young boys and covered up for decades yet her tone and approach was to try and protect the Paedo harbourers and beasts

Phucking disgrace

Who is she?

Agreed. What an absolutely disgusting interview. It was like she was interviewing for the defendants there.

Utter scum. Deflect and deny tactics classically used right there.

instead if copying what the likes of mad mental phil and the odious cretins he has spawned on twitter do and repeatedly churn out the same rubbish without checking the actual facts and looking into history, maybe they might not look so daft when they do what they do.

rather than own what had happened, they feel the need to sweep it away. Forever scum.
OMG thats the first i had seen that 66 stuff. WTF is wrong with this scum? I know a stupid question. But come on that is disgusting.

The Guardian report states "The victim-survivors hope their case will also shine light on the role played by a senior celtc executive when one paedophile returned to the Boys' Club after he had been allegedly sacked from it in 1974 by Jock Stein..."

That certainly jumped out at me.
Senior executive?
I wonder who that could be referring to.

Would it be one who claimed he was told to not say anything to police or maybe one who got a pretend dunt on the head (from a fictitious car crash) so he could start claiming loss of memory?

It is genuinely disturbing that Scottish politicians and the football authorities have all looked the other way despite the every increasing convictions for molestation at that cesspit. This scandal has went on for more than four decades with no condemnation of the Celtc Board and Management. That they even put up statues at the Piggery to people who could have stopped the horrific abuse of minors in its tracks is beyond words.

What affect will these proceedings have with regard to the forthcoming documentary? Does that get further delayed as I’d imagine some of its content to now be sub judice?

Forgive my knowledge gap but a “test” case if successful then opens the gates for everyone who wants to sue ? Does it pave the way and make it so much easier for other survivors to sue quickly ?
You’d hope that if the test case was successful then Celtic would just settle with the other victims rather than force them into court and all the pain that would cause...

What was her name?

No, but I listened and the interviewer was a disgrace with his line of questions. It was short and really nothing new that’s not been gone over. Just that they had tried to sort it with them but now it’s at court as they said it would be.
And all questions aimed at projecting the image of money-grubbing from the litigants. Not one enquiry about their current state of mental health or even if they're still alive. Vermin.

This is what the victims and families deal with on a daily basis -

This is where absolute scum take a snippet of information that they clearly know nothing of and try and twist it for their own purposes. Sheriff Smith did not preside over the FAI that found the Ibrox disaster a tragic accident. He presided over a civil case brought by the widow of a fan who tragically lost his life. We did not dispute this verdict either. Sorry, I don’t mean to take the thread off track, but that disgusts me!

I know Celtic Boys Club were paid 2 years ago to change their name by Celtic (which on a different subject is a strange thing for a seperate entity to do.. coincidentally around the time of convictions for CSA)... But I'm sure the claims that Celtic and Celtic Boys Clubs weren't linked have been around for a lot longer than that.
They were joined at the hip, like Siamese twins since the inception of their boys club they only got separated when Celtic paid for them to change the name to St.Pats in order to try and somehow distance themselves from their boys club and subsequently try and minimise the damage.
It's like the hidden secret of the molestation, they all know it happened but let's just forget and deny it.

We can only hope the victims get the justice they deserve and if so extend a massive thanks to BN94 and his team for their effort behind the scenes I would be delighted to see the government members and ex players etc...who have done nothing to help , appear in court , they should be ashamed as much as the abusers

Someone has a guilty conscience. At no point was he named directly by @BN94
Since he's all for knowing who everyone is he could start with revealing himself on this thread?

We know he's here, surely a person of such "integrity" would be willing to take that first step.

We all know he won't though, but since we know he's reading, Ronnie you are the lowest kind of filth ever shat onto this planet.
I can't even begin to imagine the sort of diseased mind that wakes up knowing each day is a day of supporting child abusers.
Cancer is too good for scum like that.

What an absolutely disgusting interview technique from a government employee. Interrupting a lawyer representing Child Sex abuse victims every answer to ask pre-planned questions, including at least 3 times parroting the separate entity lie which the paedo ring have hidden behind for decades.

In any future independent investigation into how one football team was allowed to abuse so many children and cover it up, the BBC needs to be one of the first organisations looked at.

Wonder if her husband is that Economics twat in there ?

Douglas Fraser - the clown that kept trolling Dave King ?

Seems very possible. Same spelling & same mindset.

In any other country in the world they would have been suspended from football pending a full investigation. They would be facing expulsion from the game altogether.

Here we have the SNP, Politicians, the Judiciary and sections of the SMSM pulling out all the stops in an attempt to cover up the disgraceful abuse that went on at Parkhead where a grooming gang were running amok.

The Celtic View Photographer kept his kiddie porn stash in the stadium itself ffs! Let that sink in.

Now, just as it was back in the days of Stein, it's all about protecting the 'good name'

Celtic and those protecting them are an affront to human decency.
Great Post LL. The thing is though, that the SNP are just the latest in a long line of politicians and people of power in Scotland to take such a bizarre stance against this, even though its such an emotive subject.

This is pretty frightening to me, as it obviously points to an organised peadophile ring being operated, and allowed to continue doing so by the people holding power in the country.
Surely some politician, or policeman or judge in the past 50 years should have done something about this before now?.
And it most definitely should not have been ignored by most until a bunch of ordinary guys have had to take it upon themselves to get these poor guys some sort of closure.

I'm of the opinion that there's a lot of powerful people up to their necks in this.
