Remember Sutton called one of our player "buffallo brains" live on BT sport he should have been banned there and then.
Leaves us open to attack by people who hate us anyway.Happy to have Sutton and Lennon nowhere near Ibrox but the timing of this is a bit strange in my opinion. PR wise it seems like an uneccessary own goal which leaves us open to attacks, I’m not sure what this achieves tbh
Aye, spot on, drop the N from pundits and you have stupid.Bit rich for either of them to be labelled pundits.

Aye good luck Lennon ya cock we are a private business it’s up to us who we let in to our home now off ye %^*& ginger pubesI remember hearing the same from Andy Walker as well before that just went away
Rangers should post that video on Twitter as a responseThis.
Picking up a Rangers scarf and spitting on it during the same game at Ibrox.
There's a You Tube video with him, drunk, singing
'The Rangers are Shite'.
Lennon knows these, and other instances, can be levelled at him and still accepted the pundit work for the Celtic game based at Ibrox.
The club have taken the correct decision.
It would also be inaccurate to say they were denied entry for security reasons ya fucking helmet!Gollum has consulted plod about it!
What an absolute roaster!
They belong at torbett towers. Not the home of the famous. They weren’t covering Rangers, don’t understand why people aren’t grasping that.
Brilliant couldn’t have put it better myself lolGood.
Pair of dicks
B!ngo. Free publicity on the day and a story that will run and run across the Scottish Media so win-win.For me BT are at fault here, not our club.
Or it was a set up hoping a drunk Rangers fan would react to their presence and they'd get the story they wanted.Alan Brazil and the utter twat Sinclair have just emptied Rangers over this, with nobody to argue, no right of reply and with a lack of explanation from the club to at least add balance.
I am absolutely on board with causing as many issues to broadcasters as possible where it is warranted but stunts like this, not backed up with any kind of reasoning or public explanation just make the club look beyond petty and allow idiots like the 2 above to hammer home their own agenda.
Unless here is some kind of follow up coming today, it was a really, really stupid thing to do.
ThisThe pundits stand on an open platform in the East Enclosure, if popcorn teeth got scudded with a pie or a coin, the media would of had a field day, and no doubt Rangers would of been fined by UEFA. For me the correct decision was made.
They wanted something to happen. They wanted a reaction. Rangers were 100% correct to prevent anything untoward. In all fairness, WHY would they think Lennon and Sutton were good pundits for a Rangers game? Imagine the outrage if they got Walter Smith and Nacho Novo on as pundits for a Celtic game? Makes no sense!
My understanding is that they were only going to comment on the Celtic game that kicked off at 5:45, so they would have been discussing the game at half time and after full time (when Rangers fans would be entering the ground and spot Lennon and Sutton chatting on a platform a few yards away). Then Ally and David Weir would replace them on the platform to cover the Rangers game.In all fairness, WHY would they think Lennon and Sutton were good pundits for a Rangers game? A very vociferous and probably lubricated sounding Alan Brazil has just tore Rangers to shreds over this to millions. He also tied it into the ban on away fans at Ibrox calling it a disgrace. A very clear picture was being painted.
He finished by saying he hopes Jim White, who is coming up next, will have lots to say on it. Watch this space
It was during their live Saturday afternoon show. Other panelists were clearly unhappy with him at the time.Remember Sutton called one of our player "buffallo brains" live on BT sport he should have been banned there and then.
TLB. Am ragin!Sun reporting Lennon is taking legal advice
Jim will concur with brazil with his arse up in the air.And here comes Jim White and his take on it. I'm hoping Simon Jordan is switched on enough to see through it.
Craigan noted in the first half that Rangers need more creativity and energy. Then repeated it incessantly for the remainder of the match. If he has nothing new to say, then just keep quiet.Pity we didn't ban Craigan, he's an assault to our ears.
This was all that was needed, ask the club why and get the correct answer.Produce Luke on speaking to Ibrox, have a great insight for those not in the know and came across very balanced by all I thought there.

It could easily, and diplomatically, have been solved by renting a TV studio somewhere else in the city for a few hours, or if time allowed sending Sutton and Lennon to the studio where their replacement (Petrov) did that job.
What was the club's answer? This was all that was needed, ask the club why and get the correct answer.
brazil didn't want to know the real reason.
If I’m gonna be honest, Petrov is actually a decent pundit. He’s honest in his assessments and has a lot of football knowledge…also despite playing for that mob, he’s not a bitter tim.
He should have been kicked out of Scottish fitbaw when accusing Dunfermline of lying down. Lenonn the same when calling us "Orange bastards".Remember Sutton called one of our player "buffallo brains" live on BT sport he should have been banned there and then.
That bt got told over a year ago that Sutton was not welcome and it wasnt a good idea for Lennon and Sutton to leave walking around the stadium when there where fans in the ground. What was the club's answer?

I thought this new PR guy was competent?
