Could be.Right. Think I got it now. Away to Borussia Moenchen-gladbach 1973. Lost 0-3. Number 11 is Alfie Conn. @auldyin @JerseyLoyalist
If it was the 3-0 away defeat in 73 the number 11 was Doug Houston Alfie was number 10 --- i might be wrong but Houston did playCould be.

I suspect thats the goal that could have just abou won the League if we had went about our business right that night?
Brilliant mate and @auldyin . Thanks for clearing that up.Doug Houston at no11.
Poor night for Rangers, trounced 3-0. The big Gas Meter gave away a comic goal to give BMG the lead - rolling the ball out , he allowed a German forward to take the ball off him and tap it into the empty net. BMG were one of the best sides in Europe then but Rangers really blew this one in the first leg.
You suspect correctly. Still stings.I suspect thats the goal that could have just abou won the League if we had went about our business right that night?
I had to get taken to RAI from Chrysler in the works "ambulance" and i did not make the game because i could not walk. When Doyle got sent off i said yes we are the champions ffs i was wrongYou suspect correctly. Still stings.
still a sore one for me, up against 10 men and we allowed them to take control,a bus strike meant it was a long sorrowful walk home afterwardsI suspect thats the goal that could have just abou won the League if we had went about our business right that night?
