Copa America 2021 - Live on the BBC

just read a newspaper article from The Herald, it was Crerand. The Uruguayan threw his shinpad at Crerand's face.B-)

Incidentally, this was played the same night, The European cup final was played between Benfica and Real Madrid.
Must've been a nightmare switching between both channels eh?

Argentina and Chile have played 28 times in the Copa with the former winning 20 games and the latter 0. Yet, Chile have won two CA finals against Argentina, both by penalty kicks.

Wonder if we'll get the first red of the tournament tonight. Has that feeling with a number of niggly fouls (so far).

That pass by Messi was a joke, he sprayed it with a degree of finesse that literally landed and stopped right where it needed too.

The games in the Copa and Euros highlight the difference even a few fans can make. Such a shame there are none in the ground.

Would love Argentina to do it this year, Messi doesn’t deserve to retire with no international accolades.

I still blame Higauin.

Surely everyone blames Higuain?

Agreed though, it'd also probably highlight the European bias with people arguing Ronaldo is better for leading (despite going off after 15 minutes) Portugal to a European Championship.
