You can’t rush yellow cladding mate.Embarrassing that it has been 4 years since that work started!

The cladding to the underside of the Govan and broomloan also not finishedYou can’t rush yellow cladding mate.
The huge posts holding up the stands would make for plenty of restricted view seating. Could get the posts to f and go for the open air lookAll the talk about taking away the screens to replace them with seats,is it actually feasible as I read conflicting reports?.
The screens could be moved to the Copland Road and Broomloan Road stands surely?.
If the club dropped the pitch as well as the front of the stand going down for an extra row or two the front would go nearer the pitch,That would be too close to the pitch imo.
Noticed the change in his posts as well. Every post is negative regardless what the club are doing.Don't really get what he's trying to prove with posting that.
Notice he's been stirring the pot more recently on twitter- has he lost his contact within the club?
He sure looks like oneNoticed the change in his posts as well. Every post is negative regardless what the club are doing.
He's acting more like a mentally challenged every day.
And the front rows wouldn't be under cover as they would be beyond the current roofIf the club dropped the pitch as well as the front of the stand going down for an extra row or two the front would go nearer the pitch,That would be too close to the pitch imo.
How would people get up to the Club Deck if the stairs were removed?are the Club Deck Stairwells listed buildings as they are adjoined to the main stand? Has the idea ever been floated about removing these and encompassing the stairwells within a new stand to fill in the MS/CR and MS/BR corners for extra seats? Would also be a means to get rid of that mingin yellow cladding
"encompassing the stairwells within a new stand"How would people get up to the Club Deck if the stairs were removed?
Presumably in this new corner stand?"encompassing the stairwells within a new stand"
Obviously lots of bigger jobs at the stadium but the club should really look to sort this. Have seen stories before of clubs hiring companies with hawks and they fly them round during the week to fix the issue. We somehow cannot even manage to get a fucking hose out and clean the top of the dug out shelters. Ah not to mention, the mass amounts of bird shite on my seat in MFK!
Thats what I meant by saying encompassing a new stairwell within a new stand.Presumably in this new corner stand?
How then would people get to the higher tier of the new corner stand, and how much would it hold, given that you would lose thousands of existing Main Stand seats to accommodate it.
Principality Stadium hire a company to take care of this and it appears to work well.Obviously lots of bigger jobs at the stadium but the club should really look to sort this. Have seen stories before of clubs hiring companies with hawks and they fly them round during the week to fix the issue.
It’s a small thing but the main stand front last few games has been absolutely covered and pigeons are flying around the stand even during games.
ladders? How would people get up to the Club Deck if the stairs were removed?

There would be separate turnstiles and stairwells for access for the new part of the stand.
Ive no idea how much it would hold but judging by the projected increase of around 4500 per corner if the screens were removed, then something along those lines.
Need to take the club deck roof supports at either end of the main stand into account as they would restrict the pitch view
You wouldnt lose many if any, but if there are affected seats in the Enclosures they could be relocated to the new lower corner
Cant see your picture but Im sure its an in-depth structural analysis of how it wont work. I bow to your superior knowledge
The Main Stand overlaps the current Copland and Broomloan Road stands, so you would lose the areas in red to bring them round (guess around 5000 seats).
You’d need to remove and replace the Club Deck roof, demolishing the stairs and rebuilding them (losing space either side of the new corner stands) and then also leave access on at least one side for vehicles as we have at present. And then the end stands are both deeper than the Main Stand, so the new corners will unlikely be as tall as the current end stands, unless building onto the road is allowed. Then there is the listed status of the Main Stand to take into account, would building over the ends and potentially part of the front be allowed?
All for at most a handful of extra seats if any?
I’ve been making that point for years.

Why are the seats at parkhead empty, id have said the seats at Ibrox were closer just now?Regardless of anything, what needs to be noted is how any new seats closer to the pitch would be affected by Europe. Because of the way Parkhead is built, the first 3 few rows of seats behind the goals must be left empty, if we lower the park and brought more seats closer to the pitch, there's a chance they wouldn't be viable for Europe
I think (and please correct me if I'm wrong) but it was something to do with the adversiting boards which had to be a certain size blocking seatsWhy are the seats at parkhead empty, id have said the seats at Ibrox were closer just now?
The advertisement boards need to be a certain height which means the front 3 rows don’t see the bylines. Think Chelsea have the same issues with the Shed End, City used to have to do it at the Etihad until they moved to the two tier advertisement boards.I think (and please correct me if I'm wrong) but it was something to do with the adversiting boards which had to be a certain size blocking seats
Yeah it is! I was just mentioning it cause we do have a significant gap between thr pitch and the seats which if we lowered the pitch (hypothetically) then it would reduce that gap and create a potential problemThe advertisement boards need to be a certain height which means the front 3 rows don’t see the bylines. Not sure if anyone would complain about not being able to see the byline so it’s a bit of a strange rule!
I already suggested they wear a nappy.
That looks like a bit of reconfiguring of some of the existing CR seats as well as the new ones being added
Would be curious to see a section through to see the changesIt's actually a bigger job than it looked on paper. Changing the elevation of the rear section as well as all the internal works.
Makes sense to do each stand in stages now and also spreads the cost.
Was wondering why they were taking the seats out the rear of the stand , now we know. Be interesting to know how they go about altering the gradient. It's actually a bigger job than it looked on paper. Changing the elevation of the rear section as well as all the internal works.

Same, each step on the terrace is going to have a different build-upWould be curious to see a section through to see the changes

Rumours small delay of works right now. There’s been a surprising lack of pictures of the progress. Given the club needs to have a tester event before it re-opens, is it realistic to have the work finished in 60 odd days?
Tends to happen to literally every construction project unfortunately. Every delay is a pain but even more so when it’s a football stadium, especially when the off season only lasts 70 days maximum.Rumours small delay of works right now.
It’s a huge job thats been squeezed into something like 8-9 weeks i think all in all. Lots of stuff being ripped out and new cabling/ducting being put in as well.Rumours small delay of works right now.

Would rather win the leagueThis will be part of Bisgrove's plan to increase the capacity of Ibrox to 60,000 by 2030!
