Don't forget . . .
Marvellous Marvin Andrews!
My dad always maintains that Derek Johnstone is the finest header of the ball he has ever seen. In my era, it has to be Mark Hateley in an attacking sense and Marvin Andrews or Terry Butcher defensively. An underrated header of the ball would be Kevin Drinkell, he was very good in the air despite not being particularly tall.
Maurice Johnston would come into this category as well.
For their size, Tim Cahill and Steven Naismith are brilliant
That made me laughMurdo McLeod (v Brazil)
Close the thread. Forget all those defenders whose only aim was to clear the ball as far from their goal as possible. I've never seen anyone better than DJ. Christ knows how good he'd have been if he could have kept the weight off.Derek Johnstone.
Best I've ever seen.
Butcher.
Hahaha "swerve a header"I like it.At Rangers, Hately.
Foreigner, Oliver Bierhoff, guy could swerve a header
