Will he even be remembered for anything else other than Roofes goal against him. Probably not.
Thought it was funny that his immediate reaction was to bend his foot as if in excuse.Hope he’s recovered from the cramp he got after Roofe’s goal

Thumb’s brother was the goalie for an Edinburgh amateur team, my son played against them in a cup tie. He’s Lee Griffiths twin brother so will be glad to be known for the goal and not that .
Looks like Griffiths as well. Poor guy.
Never noticed that but for that alone he has my sympathyLooks like Griffiths as well. Poor guy.

Don't think it was that bad on the keepers end just well off his line .The David Seaman one was horrendous for him not that far out but just had a flap at it . Worst in history in my eyes .Will he even be remembered for anything else other than Roofes goal against him. Probably not.
I'm not a goalie, but 'goalkeeper throws ball into his own net', on You Tube is surely more embarrassing. Can any goalies out there answer, is letting in a goal from the other half the ultimate shame for a goalie?
