A credit to our club, puts Murray White and all the other charlatans to shame and should be welcomed back with open arms, always wondered what became of himBest chairman we have had in my lifetime.
Would love to see him back at Ibrox and properly honoured by the fans. I dont think we have ever had the opportunity to thank him.

Even bringing him out at half time, with an almost educational montage of what he done would be a nice touch.
I don’t think many realise how important he was in putting us back on the map.
That’s a great point - wouldn’t it be amazing if he was invited to unveil the 55 title flag ?
It was John Paton that suggested Souness, not David Holmes.
Holmes was brought in by his boss to make the club fit for sale and, to be fair to him, he did that. The fact that it went to Murray is just one of those unfortunate things.
Goosebumps moment.“Ladies and gentlemen I would like to introduce you to the new manager of Rangers Football Club....Graeme Souness!”....

An RTV documentary about his era and/or extended interview with him could end up being an important piece of history for the club. If they were so minded and he is able and willing I'd love to see it happen.
I hope he makes it to 2022 and that the club give him an invitation so he can be properly thanked for the incredible part he played in our history.
David Holmes is a great man - can still hear him toasting Glasgow Rangers after winning league in Aberdeen 1987!!
A true gentleman
Absolutely agree.
I don’t know what age David is, but it would only be justice for this gentleman to be thanked by the Rangers fanbase.
He is 83 or 84.
Thank you RHB.
We really want him at the stadium this season as it would be a travesty if he wasn’t shown our affection imo.
Heard he lives in St. Andrews now,not sure how accurate that is though
I agree with that.
If he doesn't want the attention then fair do's but as a club we should at least ask him. I'm sure Dave King and the board would be able to contact him.
