Here I grew up loving that show . Rest in peace to both greatsSad news Saint and Greavsie was top viewing, both gone now.
Sad news indeed! A guy who knew how pass a ball into a net, Class act indeedSadly has passed away. A fantastic player and an affable guy. Sorry to hear this.
Was a little before my time, but like many enjoyed him and the Saint on tv. But his record was phenomenal and the footage of him bears that out. Always really felt for him that he was desperately unfortunate to miss out on a WC final placeGreavsie was the greatest goalscorer Britain has ever produced and appointment viewing on a Saturday lunchtime alongside the Saint. An absolute legend.
A proper football show that focused on the good side of football, the romance of the cup and set you up for going to the football later in the day.Saint and Greavsie was always worth a watch back in the day!
Ha ha ha , oh you slay me Greavsie. Sad news. As macdonut says, all these childhood legends passing on.Saint and Greavsie was always worth a watch back in the day!
Saint and Greavsie the best football show of the 1980’s!Sadly has passed away. A fantastic player and an affable guy. Sorry to hear this.
And at West Ham as well.RIP.
