I was told Lawrence was out until Feb / March. The story I was told was that he’d recovered from his initial injury sustained at the end of the game at Ibrox and was in contention for Hearts away but he was injured in the last session before that game - an Achilles injury.

That would tally with the RR story however of the club are saying that’s not the case fair enough. They could, of course, be saying there isn’t a recent setback / delay to his recovery but who knows.

I hope he’s back asap.

He’s averaged 35 games a season for the last 6 years, can’t see any major injury issues with him anywhere online. Which is what’s baffling even more, players like Lawrence, Goldson, who are never injured, picking up long term injuries this season.

A quick check would tell you he's played 209 league games in the last 6 seasons. An average of 35 league games a season over a 6 year period would suggest your mate from Derby has no idea what he's talking about.
