Lawwell back as their next Chairman

If true then a safe move for them, great at pulling strings in the media, knows the politics of the SFA and UEFA, contacts at other clubs etc.
But also good news for us he is a plodder with no vision, he sees Europe as a side show to earn cash. They will do well with him but they won't grow into anything better than they have been.

If there was any truth in this and it could be proven this would be massive.
Unfortunately i believe it's only internet hearsay.
There's no doubt Torbetts company received the payments which were sanctioned by Lawell . The difficulty as you say is proving it was hush / inappropriate money. The strangest thing is that nobody ever asked to see the invoices from the trophy centre ( and I include the Tax office in that )or if they did it never happened or was followed up , this after receiving countless complaints from the public.

Did he ever really leave? Reckon he'd still have been involved behind the scenes even if not officially.

Anyhoo, bring on the sharks.

Big flange in shambles when instead of some J-League player he gets a Lawwell special like Laxalt.

Interesting timing.
Just when Rangers start to get some positive press, political status and even other club chairmen praising us, Lawwell comes back.
Is he going to try to negatively influence against us again? (yes)
Or is he here to try to minimise the reaction and outcome of certain court cases?
I’ll take a guess at both he is vermin and step backwards for the scum

Things will be toxic for them behind the scenes with him back in official capacity. He’ll start meddling and it will fall apart.

So who’s their CEO now? He’s coming in as chairman, the bheasts will be furious and then you have a chairman who’ll undermine the CEO

Fun And games ahead.
The CEO is Michael Nicholson who was their former director of legal football affairs or some pish and got the interim then permanent CEO gig when MacKay wrapped it. Appointed by Lawell in the first instance......and former Harper McLeod lawyer no less.....

Ah good old impartial H&M.

It‘s amazing how far Liewell’s tentacles spread.
