Leigh Griffiths: We can still land ‘the ten’

We can still land the ten ? Is it a fishing competition or have they stooped so low they are smuggling in illegal immigrants ? or is it ten new signings they are trying to buy with help from the fans . Quite comical listening to that rhatbag preaching to anybody with the shenanigins he has got up to in the past . Your times up bawbag and so is your teams .

Thing is, he is hardly going to concede anything is he?
Or come out and say the manager should get sacked and the CEO is a fat prick!

This is why I love being a Rangers fan, we don’t have any scum like that playing for our club and never will. Griffiths and the Tim’s are a match made in hell. Hopefully someone ties a Rangers scarf round his throat when we win the league

Any other manager than that rangers hating bigoted prick would have kick this racist junkies arse out the door long ago. Won't be tying any scarfs around goal posts this season ya wee junkie prick!

On message .

Message might have had more substance if the wee cruud had got himself in shape to play in August .

When the septic support are dishing out blame for their shambles season , he’ll make the (top) ten. Their new “ ten “ to focus on.

There's no way the uneducated junkie wee rat managed to put that many words together.

Desperation stage for the mentally challengeds and if he cared that much he would have been fighting fit all season, not blowing out his arse after 20mins and resembling a down and out lowlife who Lennon didn't select for long enough

Imagine someone like Ian Black coming out last season, just around the time it was halted, and telling us that it was not over, that we the fans did not realize that it was not just handed to us, that we could still go on a run, that Pedro was still the man and the players all still want him in charge, that SDM was the bestest owner ever and that we, the fans, had too high expectations and that a petrofac cup win should see us happy.

That is pretty much what he has just said to them B-) B-D
I am sorry but you seem to ignore that he is saying this on the back of a run of four trebles, tarnished as they are.
I don't remember any of our players during the years you mention, being in a position to defend the regime on its previous record.

I don't care for the wee bhegger, but as I have said, what else should he come out and say if he needs say anything?

I had to double-check he wasn't making these comments weeks and months ago, when they were still in the title race.

Deluded fool, and I'm doing him a great honour in calling him that.

Enjoy bears hahaha

Leigh Griffiths has voiced his backing for Celtic’s beleaguered bosses, Neil Lennon and Peter Lawwell.

The Hoops striker has received plenty of backing from the manager and chief executive respectively during the periods he has struggled at Celtic Park.

And after seeing the two men come under fire for the ill-fated trip to Dubai, and the form slump that has followed, he has urged critics to try to keep a sense of perspective.

“We want the gaffer to stay for as long as possible because we feel he is still the right man for the job,” said Griffiths, in the wake of reports the club were minded to stick with the status quo until the summer.

“There has been talk about his position, and Mr Lawwell’s position, too.

“But you need to remember what these guys have done for the club.

“Yeah, the fans support us and we all love them. We want them back in the stadium as soon as possible so they can cheer us on.

“But fans quickly forget what those two have done for the club.

“The gaffer has won five out of six trophies since he came back.

“Mr Lawwell has won the last nine domestic league titles and guided us to a quadruple Treble.

“The fans are hurting more than any of us. It is up to us players to put that right.

“We are the ones who need to take most of the responsibility. We are the ones out there playing for three points, and we are not putting in the performances.

“The manager and the coaching staff can give you all the instructions possible, but ultimately it is us players who are failing to carry out those instructions perfectly.

“We are the ones who can affect what gets said about them, and we are not giving them what they want.”

Back-to-back draws against Livingston prompted Lennon to admit he could understand why people would say the title race was all over, and with it, Celtic’s dreams of a historic 10-in-a-row.

The Northern Irishman, though, has stressed the need to fight on – and Griffiths goes even further.

“Yes, we’ve got a big points gap to try to claw back, and we have not had the best of seasons,” said the Scotland international.

“But it is still mathematically possible – we can still win the league. It’s going to take an almighty push from everybody involved, and we need to take it one game at a time.

“The fans thought it was a foregone conclusion that we were just going to turn up this season and win the 10. It doesn’t work like that.

“You need to earn the right to win trophies. We earned that right 12 times-in-a-row, but that has not been the case this season.”

Why not is the question the Leith-born forward is as baffled about as any supporter.

“We are still doing the same things. The coaching hasn’t changed, what the gaffer, John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan give us is brilliant,” he said.

“It’s just not been a great season, but we have time to turn it around.

“It is actually a pity we are not playing until Wednesday (at home to Hamilton Accies) because after the disappointment, you want to get back on the pitch as quickly as possible.

“However, as I say, the title is still mathematically possible and, of course, there is the Scottish Cup still to play for.

“We have players at this club who do not know what it’s like to not win a cup final or lose a league.

“I have done it, and I can tell you it is up there with the worst feelings in the world.

“Thankfully, for the last few years I have been on a winning side.

“If we can get back to Hampden in the Scottish Cup, then hopefully I will be on the winning side again.
Thats some strong Colombian ching he's been snorting claiming the above.

I have forgotten nothing. I think it is pretty obvious that my take on it is exactly how everyone else is taking it, particularly the orcs mate. They are absolutely seething at him and for the reasons I gave. The evidence is right there and it is certainly not wirth getting drawn into an argument over.

The bottom line is, they are fucking livid with him and we are laughing. It seems a strange point of entry into defending the man.

"The fans thought it was a foregone conclusion, that we'd just turn up and win the ten"

No, you freaky looking little weirdo, you thought you'd just turn up and take a title without needing to lift a finger.

Blaming the fans when him and his arsehole manager where the ones going about signalling 10 to Rangers fans.

I'm absolutely loving this.
It wasn't their filthy fans tying scarves on goalposts.
You would only do that if you thought "10" was in the bag. Otherwise you'd look like a Gary Numan hair transplant junkie ned.

Yes Mr Lawwell, sure Mr lawwell i'll certainly talk to them, and your sure aren't you I'll have a nice new contract just as you promised for putting myself out there (deluded)

I am not defending Griffiths, I am just kinda seeing that what he said seems reasonable if perhaps slightly optimistic.
Of course, they hate him, they hate everyone when they aren't winning.
They are a scumbag support.

I am not wanting to deter anyone on here from their popcorn, the more bags consumed by our support is evidence of the quality of the entertainment these cvunts supply.

However, one thing I am keen to note, is that just because Griffiths is a ridiculous wee ned ridiculed by his own support, doesn't mean that we can take it that this league is over.

I take more pleasure knowing that little lady's front bottom is gona be there to be part of the team that blew ten in a row o

This is more like a Griffith's interview.
From the Record 10 days ago. His last words show what he wants from Timmy; a final kilo sized payday.

"I wasn’t as fit as I should have been".

“That’s down to me and my professionalism. I take that on the chin" o_O

“I think a few ex-players are jealous of what I’ve achieved at Celtic so far but I’ve still got a lot of business to be done and a lot of goals to contribute.

“But long-term that’s where you want to be – at a club like Celtic for eight, nine, 10 years, getting talked about in terms of testimonials."

They didn't want to get back on the pitch as quickly as possible after the 2nd January, telling fans what to think will never end well! Beautiful

Just scrolled through the reaction to this article on KDS, the mentally challengeds are going to town on him :))

Bizarrely, they seem to think calling someone Mr ______ is “subservient hun behaviour”

I’d call it respect but I guess that illustrates the difference between us.

You are looking ONLY at the statement he made in catching us. In isolation.

Everyone else is reading the rest of it, our support, their support, neutrals. Let me pick out a few relevant parts for you mate;

Those are all exactly the last things the scum fans want to hear right now. They blame lennon and lawwell for our title and they are absolutely hating being told by a racist junkie ned that they are all just entitled and spoilt by previous seasons.

THAT is what makes it an absolutely absurd interview, regardless of whether his point about being able to catch us is correct or not.

And, just by the by, the league is over. :D

I am sure we can all agree that seeing them in such disarray is simply wonderful!

Coming from the guy that returned from pre season like a beached whale and still cannot get match fit or last a full game. Loving this all the same. Keep the support coming.

Is he coming to the end of his contract? Sounds like he's trying to kiss ass to get a new contract, rather than actually believe they have any hope of winning the league.
Exactly, this wee fanny couldn’t be bothered to get fit for the start of the season and therefore he is one of the reasons why his team will not win anything this year, now he is kissing lawwell,s arse to get another contract, hilarious.

I'm confused. With a smaller gap last year they received a trophy in the post and trolled us with it even though there were still games to be played and it was "mathematically possible."

What's changed?
