Lundstram

Excellent performance
Him & Jack controlled our game
Him& Jack got stuck in when needed
Him & Jack were positive every rime there was an opportunity
Him & Jack kept the ball moving & got early passes away when they could
It's only 1 game as a pairing but we know what Jack can do & we just need him fit
Lundstram showed today he can play

I want to see them both do it again on Wednesday

People seem to forget the amount of MOTM performances he had after his bad spell at the beginning, a great player that should be used more often!

Best performance by a mile for us. Today the formation and set up was well suited for him. It allowed him to play his natural game which was playing with aggression, tackling and basically getting stuck in which is his game. IMO he must now keep his place against hibs.

Surely he's done well enough the last 2 games that we can edit the thread title so his name is spelt correctly?

The last two games JL has looked a different player.

There seemed to be fire in his belly, a bit of aggression, more desire, less hesitancy and a general sharpness and work rate that at times seemed lacking previously.

If he can maintain this then all good.

Maybe he's starting to realise what's required and that the Scottish game is not a place to dilly dally on the ball and you need to be up for it.

I think its definitely part that and part him now being told he is the 6 and he will have an 8 and 10 in front of him as opposed to playing side by side with another DM.

He surprised me with his positive contributions against Hearts & Hibs, but he needs Jack to create the balance in midfield. He can make the best of it here and become a rightful starter.

He's had a heart to heart with the boss and coaching staff by the look of things. Added to Ramsey coming in as well. Brilliant that he's back to his best (when he was at Shef Utd)
