Ayr goalkeeper Aidan McAdams is ex-Rangers as well. We signed him from the Dhims a few years ago. Left us last year.Ex Rangers Jordan Houston and Andy Murdoch both playing for Ayr United.
He was excellent last night, especially in the first half. He passes the ball so quickly. Be great to see how he develops.Rangers passed well but just seemed to lack a cutting edge upfront and despite plenty of possession never really troubled the Ayr GK.
Ayr's strength and experience were the main difference to be honest although they were very dangerous at set-pieces and on the break too.
Very impressed by Charlie Lindsay. Despite being at least a foot smaller than most of the Ayr team he coped well. Strong, quick and dynamic with an eye for a pass. Quite excited about this player.
