Welcome MB. Just wish he had more experience behind him, but all new men to are a certain extent are a risk. Surely he has a good amount of finances available because that's why the last two managers departed.
I'm sure he'll be aware that's going to be the case for the coming days and weeks. He'll regret doing that interview and going so full pelt with the loyalty thing. Just have to take it unfortunately. It'll die down in time.Majority of time on Sky given to the QPR guy slating him.
Anyone still wondering why the Media were not his priority today?
Me too. Outrageous stat.Even more remarkable for me that only 3 of them were "before my time"
I platonically agree.Right behind the gaffer
Aye. Disappointed we didn't go for the weekly rolling contract.
He has been loyal, he came back to where he belongsI'm sure he'll be aware that's going to be the case for the coming days and weeks. He'll regret doing that interview and going so full pelt with the loyalty thing. Just have to take it unfortunately. It'll die down in time.
Next 5 games will give us an idea.Yes, will have to be the guy with the stick now.
think we've found Ross WilsonAll the questions ( I include myself in this ) now need to stop ( at least for the time being ), let's get right behind the team and the gaffer and get our season back on track
In terms of the length of his contract , we have to protect our asset , you don't go into any deal on business presuming the worst , we need to remember this guy has already been approached by a reputable epl job , meaning it's likely to happen in the future again , I get folks nervousness considering pay offs etc but I agree with this move
and if he fails, we pay out millions....If he hits the ground running and a top half prem team comes calling it means £££. If it’s a rolling contract he can leave for next to nothing.
Wasn't my first choice but now he's here I'm 100 per cent behind him.Right behind the gaffer
Sorry mate.Sarcasm isn’t your forte.
As I said above, I’d probably have gone for 2 and a half years. I think that affords Beale reasonable security whilst also mitigating some of the risk from our perspective.
Hot property. Jesus Christ.Obviously you appoint a manager you believe in.
For a a hot property like Beale who has already been offered an epl gig why would you be looking for a short contract which makes it cheap to fire him rather than a long contract which maximises the compensation other teams would have to pay if he's a success?
Reported on Sky, deal till 2026
Exactly mate. How refreshing is it that one of our own is managing our magnificent club again? Heard on the daily update today (H&H) of the strong London based football coaching team joining up with him.Best of British.
