Is this a peaty malt??If you enjoy a nice whisky try Bhunnahabain, think Asda stocks it think its about £30 ish.
Absolutely fantastic .One of the best I've tasted.
It's a right touch. Lol
Unless you buy whisky as an investment, why keep it ?. Surely you buy it to drink it ?
Sure they do, but this is an independant bottling from Douglas Laing, this means Douglas Laing own a cask of Glenrothes and bottle it under their own brand, on this occasions The Rangers name. They have a great big sign stating "Glenrothes Malt Whisky" as advertised
No. It is not smoky at all.Is this a peaty malt??
£75 for the first one, now £130 for the second. What price will the third one be? Talk about reeling them in....?The 2nd one is now available on the Douglas Laing website.
Haha 30 year old tbf. But ye last one is going to be expensive.£75 for the first one, now £130 for the second. What price will the third one be? Talk about reeling them in....?
Not a lot and only 185 bottles available for sale according to the email from Rangers. Two out of two so far! Only 240 bottles of this one.
To clarify - I wasn't suggesting it wasn't worth it. Just chuckling at the usual marketing technique of roping you in with a "cheap" one before hammering you with the dear ones once you're sort of committed to getting the set. I think you're right on the third one - it won't be cheap!Haha 30 year old tbf. But ye last one is going to be expensive.

The first release in the Rangers single cask Scotch whisky series sold out in under 24 hours and as a MyGers Member, we wanted to give you first notice of the second release which is available now from Douglas Laing.
The second release is an exceptional single cask, single grain whisky that was distilled in February 1990 at the Port Dundas Distillery in Glasgow and bottled in November 2020.
With this 30 year old product, you can anticipate milk chocolate developing to vanilla, pineapple in syrup and cereal with candied ginger tasting notes.
Single cask Scotch whiskies are by their nature extremely limited and only 185 bottles of this whisky are available and therefore purchasing is limited to one bottle per person.
The second release in the Rangers single cask series is a white edition label which will soon be followed by a blue edition label to complete the red, white and blue series.
Same mate going to be very tough if that one sold out in 20 minutes.DESPERATE to get #3 now to complete the set!...
