I think we’ll go 3-5-2
I can see gio dropping lundstram into a back 3 when out of possession, I'm not comfortable with sands at CB. Assuming Davies is not fit since not even on the bench. Into these c7nts.
He isn’t far away winkie, thought he might have had a chance of starting tonight. I’d be starting him next weekMorelos is nowhere near ready to start tonight’s game.
Sands is better in the air than Davies, aerially is where Davies struggles mostWith De Jong so good in the air, surprised Sands at centre back.
And never even considered Davis would start.
Wondering if Gio has his Davis and Davies mixed up
Along with Parma in the qualifiers at Ibrox, that game was one of the ones I enjoyed most back in the day.I think Advocaat fancied him at the time.
Possibly realised he had better with Mols!
Define everything?
Did you hear why Davies doesn't make the bench mate? I didn't expect him to start anyway. Has to be an injury but, hopefully, minor.
Apart from young Leon King he's all we've got left to playSurprised sands is playing again, hopefully her cuts out the slack passes.
Would have went with Jack or Kamara with Lundstram, I don't think Davis has the legs to cope with the psv movement in the middle of the park.
He won't get away with them tonight, so he has to.Surprised sands is playing again, hopefully her cuts out the slack passes.

The last few team selections, and you know it
Goldson's full of slack passes but plays every week. The 2 of them were taking it turns to give me the fear last week. More of the same tonight probably.Surprised sands is playing again, hopefully her cuts out the slack passes.

You could maybe understand it if Colak was struggling but he is 3/3 going into tonight. To drop him for a half fit Alfie would have been bonkers.I don't understand how anyone that's seen him over the last 3 games thinks he's ready to start.
Agree 100%Don’t like that team Davis and lundstram hardly ever play well together.
Davis and Lundstram together, after Sands and Davis came on, is what saw us gain control of midfield against Eintracht Frankfurt. Obviously the scoreline went against us in the end but it was only when we switched to that setup that we had any sort of control of the game.Don’t like that team Davis and lundstram hardly ever play well together.
Good strong bench there too
Davis is a tremendous reader of the game he will be fine. Plus when we are on the ball he speeds it up or slows it down when needed better than any of our other midfielders imoSurprised sands is playing again, hopefully her cuts out the slack passes.

One center half in a game of this worth. Incredible. Wheres our £4m signing?
The front 3 can change positions with each other when we attack.Tillman shunted wide again
hopefully different in europe but anytime I’ve seen them play together domestically we have struggled in midfield.Davis and Lundstram together, after Sands and Davis came on, is what saw us gain control of midfield against Eintracht Frankfurt. Running the risk of a ban here but I'm not sure the aforementioned admin would be capable of running. Was that the main one running like usain bolt
Has Davies had any injury problems before? I know very little of him other than he was going to the scum before Liverpool got him where he has played very little first team football?Still confident in getting a good result but not sure if it’s through blind optimism.
Seeing that team and immediately I can’t help but feel that we’ve brought in two centre halves in Souttar and Davies who are going to end up spending as much time on the treatment table than on the pitch. With Souttar the majority of fans could have told management he’d be injured regularly.
For me, it’s absolutely criminal we’re going into a playoff CL tie having to play a centre midfielder at centre half. It’s a weak spot for us.
Also disappointed we haven’t went for pace at right wing given they’ll likely play a high line.
Tillman was pretty anonymous out wide last week and only really upped it when he got moved central. For me, Wright/Matondo should have started on the right with Tillman starting through the middle behind Colak
