If there is a time to try a back 3 it’s tonight. Kill the game in the first half and give Lowry, King and McCann a chance. Shame it just 3 subs
 
Back 3. Been saying in other threads we are choking to do it and it’s so obvious. Doekhi/Souttar/Sands all play or played in a 3.
 
Hagi is Goldson, first name on the team sheet, level now under Gio.

I like Gio but it’s a total blind spot.

He will be fine tonight as we are up against bin men and the like but it’s safe to say Hagi is a mainstay and will continue to be.
 
Mmm... hopefully this all goes to plan, nice and easy, and it's all positive vibes tonight. The bench seems to lack any real leaders just in case and it's a total shop window team, so let's just hope it's a 7-0 kickabout and we scud them easily.

Come on the Rangers.
 
Strange lineup that. Looks like a 3-5-2, so Barker and Simpson must have a future. I hope all the fringe players play well, will be interesting to see how Bacuna plays.

We’d need to use all 3 subs on them so unfortunately I don’t think all 3 will play, considering there’s first team members like Roofe that need minutes. Would love all 3 to play however

Bacuna Hagi
Sakala. Itten

Should be goals in this for Itten and Sakala.
 
It's a strange team really but appreciate Gio will want to rest some folks.

Who is actually playing left back - is it Simpson then?
 
Not a great Line up, we're a bit thin on the ground atm. Disappointing that we haven't added a couple of players this window.

Probably 6 players in that team that don't have a long term future at the club.
 
Are you all ready for the resurrection of Brandon Barker?

This is the start of his journey back to the first team just watch.
 
Suppose it’s a good game for Gio to give unfavored players a go. Hopefully we’ll see some of the youth get game time, something we should be doing more in these type of games.

Few things;

Simpson - whats the point? he's never gonna make it at Rangers. Was really looking forward to watching Leon King. If King cant get a start against Stirling then cant see him featuring much if at all.

Barker - Not a terrible player and will probably rip it up against Stirling Albion but he's never normally even on the bench let alone start

Also no idea what the formation is from that?
 
Bacuna, Simpson and Barker is a real head scratcher, you’d like to think even just one player like McCann could get a chance over people who blatantly aren’t going to make it here
