He’s contracted until January so they’ll need to pay for him. It happens.
Dire Mebude looks like he could make a name for himself down there. 11 goals and 18 assists in 18 games in the u18 prem league. I’m sure he just signed a new contract too. But you are correct. Generally they fizzle away.Other than Billy Gilmour, who rather lucked in with Chelsea's transfer ban and Lampard & Morris taking over, have any of these 16y/o wonderkids that have left Scottish teams actually made it? Seems to me the ones that succeed have played at least 1 or 2 seasons in Scotland then moved... Robertson, Tierney, McGinn, Hickey in Italy...
Anyone in their position would do the same here , let's not kid ourselves on that the money available down there changes families life'sRemember his Dad posting on here when he signed, saying it was the proudest moment of his life. Wonder what changed? £££££

I wouldn't. I like debating if I can afford a greggs or not up here. I like watching sean the mcstaunch kicking off because his late universal credit payment.Anyone in their position would do the same here , let's not kid ourselves on that the money available down there changes families life's
If that was the case then no players would ever come through. If they really want to stay they can. Look at Lowry for instance.Anyone in their position would do the same here , let's not kid ourselves on that the money available down there changes families life's
Absolutely. But some people don’t understand the way transfers work. Just like when they say they don’t want us dealing with loans despite every single club in the world using it as that is what makes the football world turn. We’re about to sign Millwall youth player. Same age. Happens both ways.

Yes the families - not just the young lads life.*Family's lives.

You sure it was his Dad, would be surprised if he has a login for FF. A follower of the dark side, always played with a tim strip on his back when he kicked a ball about.Remember his Dad posting on here when he signed, saying it was the proudest moment of his life. Wonder what changed? £££££
Familes' lives surely*Family's lives.

Good riddance to anyone who doesn’t want to play for the club that gave them the chance to shine

There is also a big difference what we can offer and what an epl team can offer.Millwall to the Europa League finalists
The Europa League finalists to 14th placed EPL team
There is a big difference

He hasn’t mate but to get him now they’ll have to pay. The alternative is they go to court, meanwhile he stays at Rangers until that’s resolved and will be as costly.I didn't think he had ever signed a pro contract?
Ure is two years older to be fair mate!"Off to the next level" he said, ffs you have not even reached the first one yet.
I did watch a few youth games on RTV and tbh he never showed much, Ure looks by far the better player.
It is the way of the world now £s over prizes.
McPake was touted as the most exciting talent in years. He has potential nothing more …. Look at how Kennedy and McPake have turned out
It is a tough one. There are a lot of reasons why a youth player would be attracted to a rich EPL club, more money is the obvious one, but they will also probably be training with better coaches and playing against better players at the youth level.
The main attraction we have that we can use to try and keep youth players is promise them game time with the first team, if we can't guarantee them that them the main attraction for them to stay disappears.
