Club Brugge have held talks over a deal to sign Ryan Kent from Liverpool, Sky Sports News understands.
The 22-year-old is keen to leave Liverpool before the close of the European transfer window and has also attracted interest from clubs in France.
The Belgian club have been speaking with Liverpool over the weekend, but are yet to strike a deal.
Kent has been keeping his options open, despite having his heart set on a return to Rangers.

FFS

Time the board get the finger out and make an offer.

Loan to buy seems perfectly feasible with Europa League money

Brugge in talks with Liverool over Kent *

Feels like Kent did as much as he could to make the return happen it was at our end it failed, maybe too much £ but I thought we could have pushed to get the £5-6mil it would have needed

Was never ever happening anyway, we have never made a cash offer for the boy, it was always only a loan deal. Liverpool wanted to sell him.

I don’t get how the board have let us down. Liverpool don’t want to loan him and we can’t afford to buy him! What exactly were the board supposed to do?
The board were supposed to buy him, comfortably enough wealth between them to buy him.

Perhaps they could have done so as an apology for their strip deal %^*& up.

if its a permanent signing thats different but if its only a loan Kent will have to really consider what another year in a new team/country might do to his career

Perhaps if the board never made an absolute bowler of the merchandise deal with Ashley the figures would be better.

Also what time period was the 14m loss for?
Period of pedro's reign. Still we are running at a 7ish-m loss regardless. We broke even after Europe last year. Results will be out soon.

Disappointing news. I had hoped no one else was in for him. It would make sense for Liverpool to send him to Glasgow rather than twiddle his thumbs.

So we broke even last year according to you, not a 14m loss.

As I’ve said perhaps the board should have funded the move as a gesture seeing as they’ve made a howler of the kit deal situation.

Also we’ve spent roughly 4m on two back up centre backs, that’s not seeming very clever now.
