Look at it this way. If you are inconsiderate enough to stand in front of someone who is sitting, forcing them to stand....then they become the inconsiderate one for the person behind them, and on it goes. No way are you going to bring back the standing tradition doing that so why bother ? Show some respect for those around you instead. Its what decent people do.
