Well done Tom , brilliant big man
Luke’s deadlift made no difference to TomAmazing achievement. Gutted for Luke. Seems he sacrificed himself in the deadlift for Tom then fell with the last stone. He’ll be over the moon for Tom any way
7thNow that it's spoiled, how did his brother do?
Was constantly refreshing the spreadsheet last night. Absolutely delighted for him. Gutted for Luke, sitting 3rd going in2 the last event n ended up 7th.Well done tom.worlds strongest man is a bear.
Sports Personality of the year?Incredible achievment. Even more difficult it has been for him having Autism aswell. Genuinely you will never see a better achievment this year. Huge Rangers man in every meaning of the word.
Have you seen the greatest story ever told? Thanks for letting us know I take it the op likes telling folk the end of movies just as they're sitting down to watch them, but brilliant for the albatross
Think it was tongue in cheek mate. The folk seriously moaning about spoiling them watching it at Christmas... If you're that interested in strongman to watch it, then I am sure you weren't going to be able to avoid seeing somewhere, internet or news or otherwise that a Scotsman had won it?
Is it the lighting or does he have a massive stauner?Congratulations Tom. Great to see all your dedication and hard work reward you with this stunning achievement. A true warrior and role model. Stay Spicy!

Most of them were tongue in cheek, but there are a couple that are clearly genuine mate if you look.Think it was tongue in cheek mate.
No he has an older brother who competes as well called Luke. And I’m sure they have a younger brother also. His big bro can take a lot of credit for getting Tom where he is. He’s helped him hugely.Mountain of a guy, is this guy a twin?
I remember reading about two brothers from the Highlands months ago.
Edit- congrats
They didn’t know that at the time of the deadlift eventLuke’s deadlift made no difference to Tom
Without doubt.bbc article mentions his love of football - not which team tho
the cynic in me thinks had it been Them that he followed, it would be plastered all over the piece
That might have been me mate, I have a very similar buildCongrats to the big man ! Seen him in amongst everyone at George Square and seen him at a few away games.
Superb big Fella

Mate, you're just wrong. They didn’t know that at the time of the deadlift event
Imagine getting stuck next to them in the already zero legroom club deck haha. You wouldn't be telling these two boys to get to the back of the queue if they jump in at the Louden.
Congrats Tom
OkMate, you're just wrong.
Luke helped him out a lot over the years and throughout the comp.
Nothing to do with the deadlift performance.
And 27-28 stone!6’8” I’m grazing 5’6” an absolute mountain of a man or should that be Bear.
I wonder if that fat arsehole Salmond pulled a saltire out his wife's bag & started waving it about when he won - nah, probably not!Congratulations Tom. Great to see all your dedication and hard work reward you with this stunning achievement. A true warrior and role model. Stay Spicy!

He’s a big muscle man,I’m a wee fat fxxxxr .And 27-28 stone!
Happy for him and his success obviously but I think the value of him being open about his autism and showing that you can be both happy and successful with the condition goes way beyond that of a strongman trophy, even the world title.Open about his autism too.
Good guy.
