And on the telly as well Jaws! Magnificent attendance - and no need to either exaggerate or cover seats with flagsFriday night against Stirling Albion.
Mightily impressive.
If I've said it once, I've said it a million times. Rangers fans have proved themselves over the last 10 years to be the most loyal fans in the UK well ahead of clubs less illustrious than Rangers. Some top flight English sides would bite your hand off for an attendance like, fantastic.
There are no clubs more illustrious then Rangers !If I've said it once, I've said it a million times. Rangers fans have proved themselves over the last 10 years to be the most loyal fans in the UK well ahead of clubs less illustrious than Rangers.
And many more like me will have took yen hit and paid but couldn’t attendRonseal.
I’ve asked the same question I wonder if it’s half the gate recipes if it is it must be over £150000 after costs are taken off. Brilliant for themGreat crowd that. How much of the ticket sales do Stirling get?
Maybe even more..I’ve asked the same question I wonder if it’s half the gate recipes if it is it must be over £1500000 after costs are taken off. Brilliant for them
Sorry changed it nowExtra zero there me thinks
I understand the receipts in cup ties are split 60%/40% in favour of the home side to take account of the extra admin costs, security etc. incurred by that club.Great crowd that. How much of the ticket sales do Stirling get?
Wow. What a boost for the wee club.Stirling will get around £300,000 from that.
And a nice payday for Stirling and credit for bringing a support the way they did 800 of them fair playFriday night against Stirling Albion.
Mightily impressive.

Aye but they’ve not got the expense of European fixtures, home and away usually into the spring coupled with cup runs to the semi or final most seasons…Newcastle United, without a domestic trophy since 1955, had a 52,000 sell out v Cambridge the other week, and they got beat! Loads of loyal fanbases in the UK tbh.
Can’t remember watching that on tv on a Friday night. Must have missed it.Newcastle United, without a domestic trophy since 1955, had a 52,000 sell out v Cambridge the other week, and they got beat! Loads of loyal fanbases in the UK tbh.
Great attendance but I think what makes it more impressive up in Scotland with Rangers, we don't have teams from the epl ever week or even teams from the English championship to look forward too. Rangers fan's generate their own loyalty. Think it's easier to keep going when they're are bigger games about.Newcastle United, without a domestic trophy since 1955, had a 52,000 sell out v Cambridge the other week, and they got beat! Loads of loyal fanbases in the UK tbh.
Great support in a huge city with no other sizable teams.Newcastle United, without a domestic trophy since 1955, had a 52,000 sell out v Cambridge the other week, and they got beat! Loads of loyal fanbases in the UK tbh.
probably about 10 years revenue.Gives The Beanos (Stirling) a nice boost to their coffers.

They got an estimated £400k, their annual budget is circa £200k.That is a genuinely massive crowd to attract versus Stirling. Stirling will be skipping all the way to the bank.
