Weekend football

Scum now have same goal difference as us and scored a goal more, we need to win tomorrow to stay top. This is our second real domestic test this season - we failed the first, let's not make the same mistake

This is going to end up like 2003 when us and them were miles clear of the rest and both had huge positive goal differences.
Hope it ends the same way!

The minute they took the lead it was inevitable that we needed to win tomorrow. Not a lot changed in reality.
Their result today has zero bearing on us needing to win tomorrow or otherwise, especially this early in the campaign. If they had dropped points, would we be accepting a draw? Of course not!

and thank feck Leicester have scored

They were always going to pump Ross County today, just lets make sure we win tomorrow. And for people getting their pants in a twist about goal difference, let’s no worry about that. We win we’re 2 points clear.

Opening game of the season was a far tougher test than tomorrow

Sounds like VAR has made a c*nt of it again in the Leicester game, disallowing a Burnley equaliser. Panel on Sky Sports adamant it's a good goal.

Man City lining up with a centre back pairing of Rodri and Fernandinho at Palace apparently...

That goal that VAR confirmed in the Tottenham game shouldn't have been given. Just to add to the conspiracy, the scoreboard said VAR said No Goal in the stadium.

Not complaining though, coupon remains in good health.

What a joke in the Spurs game, VAR checked Ali's equaliser for handball, controls the ball with the top of his arm IMO shouldn't be allowed. Ref gives it but the screen says no goal and players and fans had no idea what was happening.

Incredible amount of incorrect VAR decisions in favour of Spurs. That’s 3 now.
