Just watched a clip of Danny Murphy, who effectively said the opposite.

He suggested because Gerrard wants to be constantly competing for trophies like Liverpool do that there’s no ‘gap’ club between us & Liverpool.

They did bring up the cheat but apparently he never claimed for a penalty and had to go off injured so he never tried to cheat anyone.

Not disputing any of that but as journalists/commentators surely to f*kk it should be getting discussed on a football radio show that is open to all comers, from all teams' supporters.

Impartiality obviously is not a show trait.

His comments like “every year you can set your clocks by these calls” smacked of someone disdainfully dismissing the antisocial aspect by Celtic fans and also the clearly stated policy of that club to not allow poppies on their strips or worn by their employees on the sidelines.

It’s a national fucking disgrace and it also completely ignores and dishonours all the Celtic fans who fought and died for their country. All this to appease a hardcore within their fanbase. It’s never been addressed and each year they are mysteriously drawn away from home to try and minimise the fallout.

Shut the club down now it’s full of sickening bigots and pedophiles.
 
Keevins is now relentless in his campaign to try and talk down Gerrard's achievements as Rangers manager with constant references to one trophy in nine. Alex Rae really needs to challenge him and highlight the job he inherited and what he's achieved both domestically and in Europe.

Id argue that what SG achieved in Europe in the last 3 seasons would dwarf winning a League Cup or Scottish Cup. He wouldn't have had the funds to sign the players he has on Scottish Cup or League Cup prize money. However, it doesn't excuse the poor Cup Performances domestically.

As for the 1 trophy in 10, no matter if Gerrard stays or goes, that one trophy is the one they'd have given up the Frauduple Trebles to win and will haunt them forevermore.
 
First time I have tuned in since lennob left the rattlers. Listened to the brummie journalist and turned it off. All blocks and speculation.
