A deft chip by Bobby Russell against Morton makes it 1-0 Rangers at Ibrox on Feb 23rd 1980 in a 3-1 Rangers win.
I've got that pic, it was a Tyhoo Tea freebie
Crowd is given as 22,000, we were about 8 points back in the title race at the time, but ended up 5th, 11 points behind the tims in the 2 points for a win days.Bigger crowd in the background than I remember in the early 80s.

My parents bought me that strip when I was 8 years-old. My all-time favouriteIn my mind it’s the most iconic of Rangers strips. No badge, no sponsor, but a strip that was known the World over.
I got it for Christmas one year, either 1966 or 1967, so I would have been 8 or 9 for mine...........also my all time favorite Rangers strip. My parents bought me that strip when I was 8 years-old. My all-time favourite
Rangers v Partick Thistle, 1924.
Glasgow Corporation Transport opened their recreation ground at Helenvale Street, Parkhead in 1924. The Duke of York (later King George VI) performed the opening ceremony, and kicked off a match between Rangers and Thistle.
Check the fans up on the roof of the Parkhead bus garage.

One of my favourite moments in 50 years of attending Ibrox.
The Cooper pass was just one of those jaw dropping moments of genius that got thousands on their feet in the space of half a second.
And the Durrant finish was what that pass deserved.
This is the 1st time I have seen the programme for the game -Thanks for posting.
That, Sir, is simply brilliant.I made an RFC logo that's made up of individual Rangers pics:
