This deluge of weather is getting depressing.
There's poor cnuts getting washed out their houses all over England. Reckon we are getting off light.

Nothing like last weekend.Sounds as if it’s pissing it down atm
Don’t want to be a pantie wetter but looking at the forecast there is every chance the game will be at risk. Same conditions as Livi game and it got called off with 2 hours to go!
Can’t see it recovering for Friday either as the forecast is for worse for tomorrow!
does anyone know if we have covers?
Damn you and your functioning brain! On a pitch the size of Ibrox, with the amount of rain fall (Weight on Gazebo), I'd hazard a guess that it would indeed be difficult
Apparently covers aren't an option for rain fall.
I can confirm - It’s pishing down.
I'm in Paisley a few miles from stadium.
Rains off and looks as if the sky's clearing to the West.
That's hilariousThe game would be declared null and void, Braga win and a ban issued to Alfredo Morelos for the rest of the domestic season.
Not many gazebos football pitch sized kicking about are there.A simple gazebo style setup with runoff and simple tarp guttering wouldnt be difficult to do
This weather always reminds me of the Marseille game when Hateley scored what a roar from the crowd
I imagine that they will have been trying to dry it out as much as they can. Covering it will prevent it from drying out when it isn't raining.I've never seen any pictures or evidence of the pitch being covered at any point. Plenty of pictures from various times and days out there and never one where covers are used.
I don't know if that's standard these days or not.
Jeez o. ford scorpio, remember them?Exactly what I thought of, we've had good results on shitty pitches before in Europe
Postponed european matches are to be played within 24 hrs if possible.
The only previous example I can recall involving Rangers was versus Cologne in March 1979 at Ibrox in the European Cup Quarterfinals Second Leg. Game on Wednesday night postponed due to snow/ice and played on Thursday night instead. We drew 1-1 and were knocked out on aggregate.
Like itIt's the brown, wet, slippy pitch of Ibrox,
It's the muddiest sight that I have ever seen,
It's the brown, wet, slippy pitch of Ibrox.
And it'll help us beat this in-form Braga team.
Council would objectThe astro turf pitch across the road?
Ye’d not put it past them.Council would object
Rain off and sun cracking through in Glasgow city centre. Long may it remain.
The ground staff have been there and working since very early this morning. What time do the ground staff inspect the pitch?
Jeez o. ford scorpio, remember them?
Great newsThe ground staff have been there and working since very early this morning.
The UEFA delegates are also there. The game will go ahead.
Edit...now a hail shower, snow too.Been glorious sunshine in Gourock all morning...hopefully the same up river now
I dont see a smiley face at the end so who's laughing ?At what point was this sort of shit ever remotely funny?
