They have been decent - aided by some favourable decisions in the first half.
We have had too many passengers in key areas and a team that didn't seem to believe (which was odd).

Throw in a couple of stupid tackles and we have got what we deserved.
 
They are slightly better than us unfortunately. Last 16 is about our level at the moment which is great considering where we have come from. Tough to take when we are not used to losing though.
 
Not that it matters, but that was brutal from McGregor. Why on earth is he 4 yards off his line? He gave himself no chance. He might still not have got it but he at lease would have had half a chance.

Starting balogun instead of hellander was bonkers

Bringing roofe on instead of Hagi was bonkers

How aribo has lasted the full game is beyond me
 
Ref has been a joke. Farcical that one of our players get sent off for two bookings when they've had multiple players persistent fouling all night.

Balogun was dreadful the whole night though. Shouldn't have started ahead of Helander.
 
Beaten by a slightly better side, no shame in being knocked out at this stage, it's been some run.

They are just so well organised it's been difficult to create anything even with 11 men.
 
Slavia are a good team. I’m gutted to go out to them though as they have obviously been coached to be cheating diving pricks. Ironic though that after all their theatrics their keeper has had to go off with an actual sore one.
Nothing to be ashamed of this European campaign.

Its just now happened for us tonight but overall its been a fantastic european campaign.

When you consider how many qualifers we have played and we won the group stage too all without a defeat up until tonight.
 
What are you supposed to do with a referee like that ? Completely one sided. Utter, utter C UNT.

Thought it was obvious that balogun and arfield needed replaced at HT tbh

McGregor’s done us by gifting first goal. Game plan screwed after that
 
Two obvious red cards. Can’t legislate for or complain about that.

Up against a very difficult side. Tonnes of strength, energy and really well organised. Know how to play the ref and got their game plan spot on.

We’ve looked out of sorts tonight. First time this season we’ve looked spooked by the level. Disappointing but given the run we’ve had, I’m happy with how we’ve done overall. Keep improving into next season and we can go further.

As folk have said they are masters of the dark arts, but they are also a very good team, Champions League level. Happy to take a few yellow cards knowing they can replace them like for like.

I do think they have maybe another gear to their game if required. A few years of Champions League money and we can be up there with these teams.
