These things even themselves up over the season, Jack, remember Dioge's foul on Helander in the 2-2 game ?No it was a foul on Helander

I thought it should have been a goal
And that should be the end of the arguement. You can't score goal if the whistle has already blown. The whistle had clearly blown well before the ball goes in the net.
Clear shove.I thought it should have been a goal
Pure prick.Jack Ross is a wanker
Exactly.what's this disallowed goal rubbish, the ref blew then the ball was headed into the net, so the disallowed goal narrative is bollocks
Makes up for %^*& all.Dont think it was a dive, but not worried!
Was possibly a goal, but makes up for the one they got at the 2-2 game.
yep that's how I see it, how folks on here sees it as a disallowed goal is beyond me, it's no different to a player being offside ref blows whistle and everyone stops, but the player still puts the ball in the net for the sake of itExactly.
Play stops the minute the ref blows the whistle. So it was a foul in the box where the ball ended in the net. No goal to disallow.
Whether it was a foul(or 2 fouls) leading up to it, that's another debate.
Jack is just confused because Robertson let them steal a point in September from a goal that was both offside and a blatant foul on Helander.he blatantly shoves helander down, it was quite rightly a free kick to us
I thought so too at the time. Looked like he put his hands up to stop running into our player then fell over. Was never a dive a harsh booking just like a few of ours and ones that he let go for Hibs.
That is the most sensible post on this thread.Never a penalty but it was debatable as to whether Helander was fouled or not prior to their disallowed goal. The referee blew for it before the goal was scored. I can understand why Ross was upset.Same as I could understand Gerrard being upset when we had a last minute winning goal disallowed at Easter Road earlier in the season.
Karma. Both their goals might not have stood on another day. Push and offside. Some you get some you don’t.He was possibly unlucky with the goal, but they were very lucky with the equaliser at Easter Road early in the season so what goes around comes around.
I only saw one, poor, replay of their ‘goal‘ and I’d have to say I still haven’t spotted any foul. No doubt see a few more replays later.
I also thought Boyle’s booking harsh. Not a penalty but not a dive either IMHO. On the subject of bookings the ones for Borna and Helander I thought were harsh. I also felt a few more Hibs players could and should have been booked.
EDIT: Seen replay now. Push on Helander. Foul. Wasn’t a lot in it though.
Whistle definitely went before the ball went into the net. No doubt at all about that.I was looking at two things it happened fast I thought a hibs player through his hand up and helped the cross on? The whistle went before the goal was in so it could have been a foul on Helander? Pretty sure the whistle went before goal though!
Perhaps like me the ref thought a hand touched the ball? Unless he saw Filip being fouled?Whistle definitely went before the ball went into the net. No doubt at all about that.
All these "pundits" will tell you that Alfredo never gets the benefit of any doubt because of his "reputation".It was a push on Helander who was in front of Porteous. If there is no push Helander clears the ball. As for Boyle’s card, Goldson was in front of him and he seemed to kick Goldson’s standing leg and fall over. It could be argued that Boyle has form for this when trying to get a penalty and Robertson knows this.
I think it was for a push on Helander, though there didn’t seem to be much in it. Haven’t seen a handball, will have to look again.Perhaps like me the ref thought a hand touched the ball? Unless he saw Filip being fouled?
Did Jack explain why Porteous stamped his foot down on Goldson's ankle, and then falling to the ground to roll about holding his face, which had come into absolutely no contact with anything else?

For the dive. 2 points.
1. There is a replay from one angle (reverse angle?) where as he goes down he throws his leg out to the left at pretty much 90 degrees to the direction in which he is travelling in order to make contact with Goldson and make it look like Goldson impeded his progress unfairly. There is no logical reason for his leg to fly out at a different angle to that which he is moving other than an act of simulation.
2. He didn’t protest the card at all.
I need to see the disallowed goal again.
twatI thought it should have been a goal
He’s right
He blew before the first header that McGregor savedwhat's this disallowed goal rubbish, the ref blew then the ball was headed into the net, so the disallowed goal narrative is bollocks
Also got St Mirren left back sent off in February with two blatant dives.
He deserves his reputation no matter how quick the wee prick is.
Their was nothing wrong with their disallowed goal. We got away with 1
