Braga bang in form

No fear , can't wait to go into battle all guns blazing......Alfie scoring and letting them know it's over . Bring it on ......

They have had some good European results this season. That said, so have we. If we can keep a clean sheet and get the win at Ibrox I’d fancy us to finish the job away.

There’s no mistake it’ll be a tough tie but we should go into the game confident because we’ve got it tactically right in Europe so far this year.

They are on form but so are we , It will be tough games but we have shown in Europe we are more than capable.

Cold night and a full Ibrox will have them out of their comfort zone. Remember that we haven't been outplayed in any of our games so far bar for the od 20 mins here and there. We can compete with most teams in Europe and I can wait for this match.

Was slightly surprised that so many had us through before a ball is kicked in this tie. I certainly have us as favourites, but I think it’ll be tougher than what a lot are expecting.

This is going go be very tough.

We’ll need to be absolutely solid defensively and take our chances when they come, which could require patience.

That said, I still fancy us to progress

Should be 2 good ties. Looking forward to both games.
The better teams bring out the best in our players.
Our midfield has improved throughout this run in Europe and gained invaluable experience along the way.
I still fancy our chances of progressing and they will be very wary of us.
It will be a very tense leg at Ibrox and a clean sheet will be a must in our hopes of going through.
Bring it on, we have exceeded our expectations getting through the group stages.

Looks like this will be a much tougher game than when the draw was made. They did well in their group playing on the counter, are they still playing the same way under the new coach.

Why is the away leg on the Wednesday at 5pm and not the Thursday at 5.55pm?

I think it's to do with Braga, Porto and Guimares being too close geographically for some strange UEFA rule. Can't have two or three games so close together at same time or something like that, so ours was moved. Think it's because Braga have a lower tanking than Porto, but then that doesn't explain Guimares (lower than Braga) so can't be certain.

Some will think Braga should be easy just because they're not one of the big 3. They've been European specialists the last decade.

Yes sacking their manager seems definitely to have worked. Seen they won 7-1 away to it's going to tough for sure. But I'm still confident we are a very very good side.

Thanks mate. 5pm kick off will be a nightmare for folks leaving work

Will definitely be a tough game over the 2 legs, just need to make sure we get a good result at home. Clean sheet would be a big boost.

This round was always going to be another tough test. We've came through tough tests already this season so just need to keep going

The tie against them was always going to be tough, regardless of their form.

If we play to our capabilities we should still have at least an even chance of going through, on our day we're good enough to take on most teams, assuming a level playing field regarding officiating.

League is obviously the priority, but stating the obvious, Euro cash abd exposure is very handy. Will be a tough tie.

There are no mugs when you start to get into the knock out stages in Europe- not sure why a certain few think we'll batter them home and away, I always air on caution.
