Let us examine the SNP credentials in relation to the protection, nurturing and development of our young people:
The named person proposal is nothing short of a disgraceful intrusion into family life. The great majority of parents are wholly responsible, caring and law-abiding people. It is clear that the Government considered that parents could not be trusted to bring up their own children therefore State provided bureaucrats were essential to protect our children and to potentially interfere into matters that are rightly the responsibility of caring parents.
In 2014 the Scottish Government published statutory guidance on relationships, sexual health and parenthood education in state-maintained schools. This education package is required to be delivered to primary school children. It contains graphic details of homosexual activities, and also heterosexual practices which would best being left for consulting adults to discover for themselves. On a recent Tweet, Gordon Woods, a victim of abuse while at Celtic Boys Club was asking why his Primary 7 daughter was asking him why condoms have to be flavoured.
One of the most effective ways of securing healthy and successful present and future lives for our children is via academic attainment. The SNP Government has seen attainment levels slump in recent years and has yet to deliver its long-standing promise with regard to class sizes. As mentioned previously, however, it has been successful in filling the heads of our young children with detailed information of sexual practices that should really the domain of pornography sites. Remember, Nicola Sturgeon has stated on many occasions that she should be judged on her Government’s record on education.
The State provision of baby boxes for new mothers is nothing less than PR exercise, and has the look of having been thought up by young Tracy in Admin in a trendy Public Relations office’s monthly good idea competition. This initiative cannot be considered worthy of being a serious policy of a devolved executive with unrelenting ambitions of independence.
I make the above points to demonstrate the utter hypocrisy the SNP Government. This is the same SNP Government that has refused to engage with the survivors of sexual abuse within Scottish youth football. It is the same Government that cynically excluded religious organisations and sporting activities from its Independent Inquiry. With regard to the victims of paedophiles within youth football, it chose to wash its hands of the matter and found a willing “patsy” to take the heat, in the SFA. It did, however, ensure that the remit of the SFA inquiry would not upset its core voters by apportioning accountability, let alone delivering punishments.
As I have posted on this site previously, the Deputy First Minister, John Swinney, proposes that victims of abuse be offered tax payer provided compensation in exchange for abandoning their right to pursue the matter through the courts. He also appears to be enthusiastic about a fund being levied from Scottish football clubs to offer compensation to the victims of a few clubs, and one very notable club in particular. I would be extremely surprised if a similar waiver to the one proposed for the child care sector would not be a precondition of payment of compensation.
To kill the snake we should cut off its head. The SNP Government is the head of this particular snake.
My god, that is so sad and horrific it makes me want to be sick. It's up to everyone to make sure these b@stards get their comeuppance. All of them! from the abusers to the enablers. Do all you can bears to help, the more people know the better, spread it far and wide
We agree. We believe it will be a complete whitewash and we’re prepared for this. It’s one of the main reasons we don’t show everything we have. All in good time. The interim report was very damning of the paedo club as I recall.
That said, and given the length of time the full report has taken, I fully expected a total whitewash and a sweeping generalisation type list of proposals and recommendations.
Let’s hope it shows up the one entity club for what they are and a full independent inquiry is instigated on the back of this.
I’m constantly being messaged asking if this post is anything to do with us. The answer is no.This looks interesting
Please be wary of these posts on Twitter. Some of what is being said is simply untrue and some is already known.

Some also may remember that the same poster said there was 100+ victims at Celtic. Also not true.
Today I’ve been in contact with victims and families that say the above is also not true. We’ve witnessed the same poster over the past 2 years stating other issues that also weren’t true.
Spotlight are in contact with the correct people, who have also been contacted today. They have told us the same. They know nothing of this. We simply don’t know where his information is coming from.
It not your fault mate. I’ll be honest. Some survivors have relied on his information in the past and it simply hasn’t happened. Now the guy might be telling the truth, but we’re in contact with the correct people who know nothing of his claims.I was under the impression that the individual who posts on that account knows a lot about this scandal. I will refrain from posting the information in future if the team thinks it is unreliable. I also do not want to muddy any waters with untruths on this thread.
My apologies.
Hopefully one day the wee arrogant looking nationalist on the left of this photo will be questioned on this whole issue.
It’s plain to see that they will not enter into any dialogue with victims and survivors. Why?
Despite this EVIL, CONTEMPTIBLE, CRETINOUS, MONSTER, you should be proud of yourself for your achievements, your career, and your family. There may be dark shadows, which hopefully will be lightened soon. All the best to you and your Family.
They know excactly what they are doing which is to protect fucking celtic at every chance they get.
Is this historical scandalous that BBC focusing on finance rather than horror of what happened and the abomination of the cover up
Adidas will drop them quickly once they have benefited from them, and once the full scale of this scandal is shown to the world. Money over morals is the order of the day, until bad PR comes along.
There's a lot of people going about with no moral fibre.
In response to your last sentence, I would say that people with morals and principles , far outnumber those without. This thread shows a fraction of those with the former.
They have continued with the view “separate entity.” At the same time turning their backs on victims and families. When's that shower of shite going to own up and take their medicine BN,just watched Gordons video there and I feel sick to hear what him and other survivors went through all in the name of football.
