As per the title, I’ve just been tagged in this image on Twitter showing demolition of Edmiston House is currently underway this afternoon.
I therefore guess the new structure application was approved?
Likewise mate.Had a great deal of brilliant times in that building.
That's what I believed too.Thought it was packed with asbestos and needed that removed prior to just blooterin' it to the ground?
Wonder what their agenda isFriday this week is the last day for public comments on the planning application. Just the one objection from a local resident thus far. A target of early next month is when we can expect a planning decision.
Your wife had a few good night's with Christian??The Mrs had her 21st birthday in there also had a few good night's with star turns like Christian.
Thought it was packed with asbestos and needed that removed prior to just blooterin' it to the ground?
Asbestos was removed several months ago by specialist contractors.Thought it was packed with asbestos and needed that removed prior to just blooterin' it to the ground?
Thank you.Friday this week is the last day for public comments on the planning application. Just the one objection from a local resident thus far. A target of early next month is when we can expect a planning decision.
Easy done, and would have already happened.Thought it was packed with asbestos and needed that removed prior to just blooterin' it to the ground?
Had a great night in there in the eighties laughing my ass off at Bernard Manning.
Sadly Edmiston House has gone the same way as freedom of speech.
The entire Edmiston House project is expected be completed early 2022.When is it due to be completed?
Yeah I was there too, had many great nights there with cascade the resident band . I recall Mccoist singing dancing in the dark once and my best memory is whole team arriving the night we won the league v the sheep in 1991.Had a great night in there in the eighties laughing my ass off at Bernard Manning.
Sadly Edmiston House has gone the same way as freedom of speech.
Safe to say it’s replacement will be a vast improvement on what’s there. Now sadly past its best - looking forward to seeing the improvements in 2022.
wow.....there's a phrase you don't hear very often. Even in the lesser PC days, he was awful. "Take my mother-in-law.........please".Had a great night in there in the eighties laughing my ass off at Bernard Manning.
Sadly Edmiston House has gone the same way as freedom of speech.
Haha brilliant I just 're read that.Your wife had a few good night's with Christian??
Do you think there is some old guy in Govan bricking it today, because he buried his wife under there 50 years ago?
Holds a lot of happy memories for me from the 70's. It was a great club at the time. Hoaching with nan as wellIt'll hold some memories, but this is progress.
Surprised its not Central Demolition doing the job seeing they are one of our sponsors
It's an eyesore but cant help but feel a bit sad
Mate I watched the Leeds game in there and saw the Drifters there too. Leeds game was bouncing. Think I watched Marseille game there too.Had a great night in there watching us knock out Leeds and qualify for the first CL, as well as seeing the Drifters, Bernard Manning etc.
