Nah they won't postpone it. I expect they'll build a massive fence round the Piggery for a second time this season. Have an excessive amount of police stationed around the area and nothing will happen.

Which is precisely why it has to be coordinated tactical voting, organised and promoted on a constituency by constituency basis and involving all unionist parties. Select the best candidate to oust them and then everyone gat behind that candidate.

100% has to be this, there's information on Twitter for tactical voting for the best candidate to take away votes for SNP, if we all give our second votes to All for Unity then that would be enough to get them out. Also read somewhere yesterday they are predicting a hung parliament so they will lose their majority. Surely now after the attacks against us this week no bear would even consider voting SNP or Green!!! If your a blue nose eco warrior then there is a new Green for Unity Party also. Vote wisely bears.

Why not look up your local unionist group. There is one sprouting up in every area and making a major push to stop the nationalists. They will canvass and question the politicians in your ward and lend their support to that candidate who is best placed to beat them. It might be labour, All4unity, Tory who knows but its prob the best ever chance to halt them
 
Just shows you how much out of touch the Scottish Government are.
There will not be any of our fans near their midden.
The League is done and dusted and they got upset over a minor celebration that they new was coming the day the league was won.
We will give them a clue when the next celebration will happen .
The day we get the trophy.

That is appalling.

It is the first time I've seen this outburst and have to say I'm absolutey stunned by his racist diatribe.

'This statistic shows the distribution of non-white ethnic backgrounds in Scotland in 2018. 96 percent of the population identified as white. The next highest ethnic group was Asians with 2.6 percent.' (From statista.com)

Some uncomfortable facts for useless to mull over. I will, of course, concede non white groups may be under-represented, but I would doubt to the extent he claims.

On the other side of the coin I would contend his problem lies with, in my perception, that the Roman church has an over-representation in high positions in this backwater we live in now.

And we all know how embracing that cult is towards Jews, Protestants, Blacks etc.
 
From what I can see there is zero noise from our end of going to the piggery. Why would we, it serves zero purpose.

So that leaves the plastic happy birthday republicans. If they are gathering at their stadium who gives a shit? Nobody has bothered about it the last few times they have done it.

There should be zero police intelligence on any potential clashes as we have no meed to be near their stadium.

Rangers need to reset the narrative here and make it clear we are nothing to do with any potential flash points.

Leagues done, we are champions we have had our outpouring of joy for now.

I will be voting Labour in constituency and Conservative List. I am a Conservative party member. I could not vote Labour last time because of Corbyn.

Meanwhile every Bear in the land is sitting, relaxing in front of the telly, glass in hand, enjoying getting it right up them both on and off the park.

So much noise and grandstanding from Holyrood about this/these games.

Both games will go ahead. Both clubs will be instructed to publish strongly worded statements about fans not gathering. There will be a 'ring of steel' and a large Police presence around each stadium on the day of the matches.

And that's it.

Everything else is just 'noise'.

Keep in mind this has nothing to do with football or even perceived risk around it. Like all things happening it simply is connected to holding up the overall narrative of a Lockdown being needed.

For example if crowds gather and it makes no difference to the virus it completely undermines their stance on social distancing being needed, ditto masks.

It is an interesting conundrum though as they want football (like all sport) to carry on so people sit at home watching it and dont leave the house. If nobody was interested in football and we were a Nation of Judo fans that would be on the box 247 and football binned. So they both want football to continue but also want to grandstand around how its all really their favour to us if it does continue.

As a further step from that, putting football aside, when you have bully like personality defects as these people do the last thing they can take is not being obeyed. So the scenes last week will have made them meltdown in a way normal people cannot likely conceive - hence all this nonsense.

My guess is its all bluster and it will carry on, its just more nonsense we have to, unfortunately, deal with given where we live and whos in power.

What a shame.

Rangers fans don't care about the league now, it's over. There will be no gathering until the trophy day.

From "they hung out the flag out war" to "use covid to cancel the game because we don't want to get pumped by the champions" :D

Not a dig at you in anyway but I genuinely don't see what difference it makes whether it's the Sunday or the Monday as tims will still show up regardless. I don't know why any of our fans would go anyway what would it achieve?

Hope UEFA are listening into these comments as well that the justice secretary can't control public order it might just see Hampden removed as a venue for the Euros.

Had that fixture been the one that guaranteed us the league, I could see the point, but it’s done.

They’re just trying to keep us in the news to divert attention from the shit show on the go at Holyrood due to the Salmond trial and this new hate crime bill.
 
Nice of him to admit it wasn't the clubs fault and it's only the Government who would do something different if the same intelligence was received.
Would this be political involvement that would interest UEFA/FIFA or would it be justifiable in this instance?

They aren't for this mate. Policing costs for clubs are ONLY for police inside, not outside. This cost is being borne by the tax payer.
 
It should be made clear that NO one from our club or fans has stated anywhere that we will turn up at parkhead on the 21st, it has only come from the celtic supporters wanting and encouraging their fans to turn up to "protect" their stadium. Has anyone from celtic "tweeted" them to stay away? Is this another ploy to postpone the game to avoid a tanking?

Where is the intelligence or evidence that even 1 Rangers Fan is planning on heading to Parkhead next weekend?
 
Perhaps it might have served the country better if the Justice Minister had been asked if he should resign due to him being unable police the streets effectively without resorting to the draconian measures usually only employed in dictatorships.
Something politicians seem to forget is that they own the disasters as well as the triumphs.
His continual bleating about Rangers having to do more is him admitting that his ineffective response to previous large gatherings during lockdown contributed to the events of last weekend.
