World Cup 2022 Japan v Costa Rica, Spain v Germany, Belgium v Morocco, Croatia v Canada - Sunday 27th

Every time you see the Morocco coach at the bottom of the screen he looks like he's running for a just-missed bus.

The quicker we get this pile of shite over with the better. As it stands, and by quite some distance, the worst World Cup ever.

Really? There’s been a lot of good stuff so far. There’s always going to be good/bad in tournaments.

People get all misty-eyed about past tournaments (82 + 86 excepted as those were great).

We’re set for a number of winner-takes-all in the final round of group games.

Belgium are absolutely dog shit. Team full of players that were good 4/5 years ago but past it now

Rotten

Great point.

Look back at Italy’s group in 82 and England’s in 86. Hunners of 0-0 dross.

It’s the final group games and the KOs that make a tournament.

Belgium have been poor again. Must be the end for Martinez and a lot of these players
It’s always felt to me like a collection of great players but not a great team.

3rd place at the last World Cup was as good as it got, but they’ve been poor at the Euros where this so called Golden Generation really ought to have shone.
