I actually think the quality of the "other" teams in the league is at its lowest for a while.

I was thinking the other day of how we'd picked up Thomson and Whittaker from Hibs, Broadfoot from St Mirren and so on in Walters second spell and what their equivalents are now and the quality just isn't there.

We have not signed thousands of players and we move on. It's part of the game. Any player we don't sign is a case of we'll never know how it would have worked out. Set up of team, injuries, a new manager, expectation. A lot of players perform well at provincial clubs yet when they move to a bigger club can't hack it. Duk may play well for Aberdeen but Rangers are a totally different prospect. He was hardly a stand out in the recent cup semi when it mattered.

You do realise than Lewis Ferguson is being linked with moves to Juventus because his spell with Bologna has been so successful?
