I believe with all my heart that your Dad will have been watching YOUR journey the whole time.Mate, one of the reasons I'm so intense at times. My dad was killed in Oct 2011. While we were leading the league. He missed all of our journey, and my personal one won't be complete till I can raise a glass to him as league champs
Both my sons - Cameron and Samuel -I don't acknowlege you enough these days because of the pain.
What a truly beautiful thread. No single post has failed the criteria Bill Strath set down. Not a single one of the departed failed in their duty as a true Ranger if they have made such a mark on all of us

That's poignant mate. Wish he'd seen where we are now on that long journey.I really think of my dad who died on his 86th birthday five years ago on days like this.
He saw some of the greatest who ever wore our jersey but died without seeing us recover.
I took him to his last game a month short of his 85th birthday (he hadn’t been for years before) when we won Div 3 v Berwick Rangers but he came away saying: ‘That’s not my Rangers.’
I will always hate those crooks and b@stards who stole his club.
Puts everything into perspective, hope it’s a bottle of Moët mate.Mate, one of the reasons I'm so intense at times. My dad was killed in Oct 2011. While we were leading the league. He missed all of our journey, and my personal one won't be complete till I can raise a glass to him as league champs
