Someone is going to get a top player but I doubt it will be us unfortunately.I so much want Rossiter to succeed with us. We knew what we were getting when he signed - a young player with a lot of talent but plagued by injuries. Hopefully in the not so distant future as he grows physically stronger his susceptibility to injury will diminish and we'll have a good player on our hands.
Clubs insurance will be paying his wages so not a huge issue in the grand scheme of things the fact the lad is still rightly getting a salary
Has been blighted with injuries, very unlucky.Rossiter will be needed, hopefully he can gain fitness asap
I've posted on the old board before about this lad. My Older brother and Nephew are SB holders at Anfield the both stated at the time we signed him that "we'd got a real prospect if he avoided injuries " They said he'd been plaguedoing by them throughout his time at Liverpool.
Sadly,it seems that he is going to be continually on the treatment table for The Rangers too.
That’s unfortunately total and utter bollocksClubs insurance will be paying his wages so not a huge issue in the grand scheme of things the fact the lad is still rightly getting a salary
He had an injury that was a constant issue for him, hence the 'plagued' comments. It was not a case of injury prone player, it was a case of a player with a serious un-diagnosed issue. That issue has been reported as healed/sorted. If it is his knee this time, and if it is unrelated to the previous injury, it might just be that he has hurt his knee....
Do you know this? For a fact? Given his horrendous injury record at Liverpool insurance would surely have been a problem.Clubs insurance will be paying his wages so not a huge issue in the grand scheme of things the fact the lad is still rightly getting a salary
You cannot say it has backfired at the moment. He may well come good. He i a top top player. It's the reason no one in England touched him.
We took a gamble and so far it's backfired.
Strange attitude surely? Should you not be 'hoping' he fulfils his potential?Hopefully we off load him in January. Waste of a jersey and stealing scant resources.
I think he's a lost cause at this point. Nice lad i'm sure but i'd rather we paid the wages to someone not made of glass.Strange attitude surely? Should you not be 'hoping' he fulfils his potential?
Again, I would rather he made good.I think he's a lost cause at this point. Nice lad i'm sure but i'd rather we paid the wages to someone not made of glass.
Hopefully this is true. I like the lad as a player, he seems very composed. Needs more luck with injuries.Good news for the lad
thankfully you are not in charge of anything at our club. Your constant negativity over the lad is a disgrace. give him and us all a break.Hopefully we off load him in January. Waste of a jersey and stealing scant resources.
I wish him every success. It's just difficult at this stage to see him staying fit enough for long enough to make an impact. It's not personal.thankfully you are not in charge of anything at our club. Your constant negativity over the lad is a disgrace. give him and us all a break.
I’d send the lad out on loan in January to get a good run of games. Keep him local though so his head doesn’t get turned.
I always find this kind of reply confusing. Why would an insurance company pay a players wages cause they are injured. Rossiter is only unfit for work. His contract will most likely say he gets paid when injured or sick and can't play. There would be no reason why an insurance company would be obliged to pay anything. I had a Google about and the only time insurance covers I just would be when a player is injured on international duty. Certainly it is the case in England as Newcastle sued the FA to pay Michael Owens wages when he got injured for England. The club's then took insurance out to cover that. But no mention of being injured whilst playing for your club

Guy will see out his contract here, no club will take a chance on him.
