Scottish rugby players who support or are fans of our great club?

Kenny Logan is a rangers man. Dunno about this national team as half weren't born here.

Hastings is a jambo and Hogg is a hibbee

I thought Gary Armstrong was a Rangers fan but may be getting mixed up with Chalmers.
Scott and Gavin Hastings were Hearts men.
Knew Scott on a personal level for a while and met Gavin at the Hearts cup game when the put us out 4-2.

Broon frae Troon was a Rangers man IIRC. Did he not train with the players in Jock Wallace's first spell as manager?

Not sure about training with the team during Jock Wallace's time but certainly remember him in one of our match programme/ Rangers News articles. Might have been something to do with the Follow Follow play around 1994.

93 SCF at the Miden John Jeffrey and Craig Chalmers were in a box in the main stand both rather pleased with the result.
Once saw JJ and his wife in the EE when we pumped that lot many years ago, probably early 90’s. Needless to say the place was wild and his wife looked in a state of shock, it was quite surreal.

Also seen CC at a couple of games.

Had to check it out #pedanticloyal.com :)) Taken from Wikipedia (I know!) Unfortunately his International rugby career came to a somewhat inauspicious end. In December, 1976, he was playing in a match between Glasgow and the North-Midlands, he was suspended for three months after getting into a fight with Allan Hardie, in which Brown chased Hardie, threw him to the ground and kicked him. Prior to this, Hardie had kneed Brown in the face and proceed to stamp on the open wound on Brown's brow after the initial attack went unnoticed by the referee. The suspension meant that he missed three internationals and was banned from training at any rugby club. He trained daily at Ibrox stadium under the guidance of Jock Wallace of Rangers who put him through a gruelling fitness regime. Gordon remembered being made to sprint up and down the terraces at Ibrox until he was sick. After missing three months of rugby he was selected for the British Lions tour of New Zealand 1977.
