Sunday’s football (except our games)

They don't look very good at all without the players they are missing, and they also looked fucked after an hour in that game. Its a pitty Motherwell had no ambition of winning the game
I watched the whole game and don't see the "motherwell didnt try" bit

They only lost the game by a dodgy freekick and had a few chances in the first half. They pushed at the end aswell. They just arent that good:))

Wonder with the amount of injuries they have what team they will put Wednesday with Sunday in mind. Did Johnson go off injured after coming on as a sub?

Aye definitely if you dont believe Aberdeen dundee utd hibs try harder against us that's your problem

Facts speak for themselves

Last season was allegedly the most important season in Timmy history.

Aberdeen - Tims dropped 4 points against them and the other two matches were 1-0 wins for Tims.
Dundee Utd - Tims dropped two points against them and have dropped two points against them this season.
Hibs- They dropped six points against Hibs last season. Three out of the four games were draws.

What facts have you got to counter this? Can't wait to see them.

Compare a usual Hibs performance against Rangers at Hampden against a usual Hibs performance against Celtic at Hampden which we will all see next week.

Exactly. Will we see potential leg breaking challenges flying in on Celtc players and HIbs fighting like demons for 90 minutes. ? I'm not so sure.

One lapse of concentration lost Motherwell that game, tough game for the Rolfs up at Dingwall through the week hopefully.

to be fair watch hearts play against us today compared to their last game against timmy.

Gio showed today that he has got a bit of the Walter about him
Put both teams on from today and we will scud them

They won at the Piggery at least once in the spell they didn't win at Ibrox.
Aye, they beat Celtic in 2005. Helicopter Sunday wouldn’t’ve happened otherwise.

EDIT: 2004. It was Hibs that beat them in the Spring of 2005.

So when Sakala said we have a point to prove against Hibs after they beat us he shouldn't have admitted to having more motivation to play better?

That is some reach that.

If you and the likes of @albop genuinely believe teams and players decide they aren’t going to try against them because of their past involvement with Celtic then you are bordering on lunatic behaviour. It’s some fanciful notion football fans have to justify results in their head.

You are absolutely no different to mental Celtic fans thinking refs are out to get them.

So are you saying cunts like portueous aint going to try harder against us
Porteous is a prick to every team he plays, he’s cemented a fair few Celtic players in his time and it’s been well documented.

There’s no doubt ‘fans’ of opposition sides may have a bit of extra motivation against rivals, Halliday v Celtic for example.

But they don’t ‘not try’ in every other game.

Tony Watt caused Celtic problems today, If he wasn’t trying then he wouldn’t have been causing them problems.

Injury to Forrest is a result, that’s three of their main creators injured. They don’t have the depth to bring someone like Hagi in.
They keep losing these players but still keep winning unfortunately.
Teams also don't seem to ever put them under pressure in the closing moments with a single goal lead like what happens at Ibrox where we invariably concede corners or free kicks in dangerous areas.

From the top down we wanted change at top of the spl you think that doesn't trickle down inside there clubs

Lennon was the reason why they fucked up so much last season
Lets not kid ourselves

That game never went our way but we’ll always have this.
The spirit of The Dufster lives on.

I was mocked when I say it will take 90 points to win this league . I stand by that statement

Looking that way for sure.
To be fair 90 points at least would be needed most seasons.

FollowFollow struggling to remember what a title race looks like. Spoiled by last season.

Though I actually think tims have dropped more points this season (13 dropped after 17 games) than they had at the same stage last season (11 dropped after 17 games).

Even with their injuries they still have better players than the opposition, they have a £3.5m international still playing for them up front.

They’ve only really got Rogic, Turnbull and Abada as their creative players now with the injuries mounting up, and don’t have the depth to bring good replacements in.

Unfortunately even with injuries us and them will still win most of the games, but it’s still a positive, means extra pressure on the other players and less chance to rotate - leading to burn out.

As well as increasing the oppositions chances of getting a result.

I genuinely think a Hibs will beat them next week.
