Tommy Sheridan having a meltdown re Lennon

Hilarious, given that Tommy was a self-professed Rangers fan until as recently as the late 90's...
 
Every time I see Sheridan he gets angrier and more intense. I saw him on a James English podcast and he was a raving lunatic.

Scotland voting no, his last failed election campaign which saw his Mrs release a statement saying Tommy was hurt by the lack of support, the falling numbers at his ''hope over fear'' rallies, the resurgence of Rangers -- all of these things have combined to bring Sheridan close to a breakdown.

If we win the league this season and his beloved independence movement continues to stall then he will likely end up in the loony bin.

He used to tell anybody who would listen that he quit supporting Celtic after the treatement of Mark Walters.

As with everything else with him, it was all done to suit his own profile.

The sad thing his he stays a short walk from Leverndale Mental Hospital, and nobody has sectioned him yet.
 
I met him once when he was an MSP, he was introduced by my own MSP. Even when he is being cordial and engaged in polite chit chat he speaks like that !
 
Personally I think this is the beginning of his push for a Sportsound/Clyde gig. Thankfully we can expect more videos.

On a serious note, if he's supporting Lennon because he's "been a victim of verbal and physical abuse" can someone post the link of his video calling on the cel'ic fans to support the victims of the cel'ic's paedo ring?!
 
I knew him in my teens as both of us were in the Labour Party at the time. A bit over consumed with politics and at that point I only joined because I fancied a girl who was a member:)).
However he was ok to talk about football then and never gave me any grief for being a Rangers fan. Even though he was older I would have told him to piss off if he did.
However even back then he pursued the women something rotten and I know a couple of people he was pumping.

I remember his views about nationalism and independence back then were similar to mine. He was an internationalist like socialists are supposed to be on this issue.
However I think after his years of protests and being in jail he decided %^*& this I am even more going to start caring about one thing, myself.

He went from a tolerant but over consumed in his political interests type of guy with principles who tried to help his local people to someone who sells his principles and political beliefs to try and follow wherever the political wind was blowing.
He obviously noticed how easily milked the republican £ is in Scotland and out the window his principles went.
From someone who when I knew him said he didn’t like Celtic anymore due to the racist abuse of Walters and was best mates with Billy Davies.

It makes you think what did he ever really believe , has his principles always been an act?

That video even Jonathan Watson would think is a bit too much if he was taking the piss.
He would shout a lot when doing his stuff when using a megaphone however he spoke at a normal level. Now everything is on shout mode, the man is fucking ridiculous and has no level he will not go to in pursuit of the Queen’s shilling.

From someone who seemed to care about the working classes, to a shell of a man who chases the nationalist and republican coin and sells his principles.
