Don't use big words you don't understand. In order for whataboutery to be in action, one must be trying to condone one action by alluding to others who have done the same. For example, one that I believe you will be more than familiar with, "What about Neely and Dunn!!!" Now that's whatabobutery at it's vileist.
Exposing hypocrisy of people who highlight one and ignore others however, is so far from whataboutery that I shouldn't really need to explain it to you.
So what you've done is invent whataboutery in order to crticise someone who is actually making a valid point about the prejudice of others. The fact that you feel the need to do that means you don't like this valid point. Question then becomes of course, why would that be?
