Celtic's End Game

Does anyone think that Celtic's end game was the collapse of the SPFL then both of us would maybe invited to England, Possibly the Championship
Said this back in 2012.
They wanted us neutered to such an extent that they could claim no competition and seek a pathway to England.
We recovered and England don't want/need either us or them.

I doubt celtic would give a fcuk if Rangers some how got a move to English football, everything they do they do to look after themselves.

I don't think so as they would never have a smidgin of influence in England as opposed to their total running of the game up here.

As for an invite to England that shower of filth would do well to be careful of what they wish for.

The English footballing authorities, opposition English fans and crucially the English press would not stand for their brazen sectarian, IRA scummery.

10 in a row is their obsession, and as we've witnessed, if it takes ref intimidation and hijacking the Scottish football authorities with their own corrupt placemen to achieve it, then that's what they'll do.
Getting to 55 before us is their obsession. Most league titles, then more trophies than us, world's most successful club while still trying to put us out of business in the long term.

Dont know if id say its their end game but its quite amazing the reaction of some posters to your question.

They want/have complete control of the game here and will be more than happy to clock up the titles and possible CL money, not one of them will care if thats done by dishonesty, corruption, bent refs and if this destroys the game or gives them the option of a move to England or euro league then even better. This idea the tims or the Glasgow press have sympathy for Hearts is absurd they hate the Jambos as much as us.

It's part of a wider attempt to have a Republican Scotland where they will be seen as main players, They have for years, looked on as also rans, they know they can't compete on a level playing field, they have to be assisted by every corrupt entity from. football officials, mhedia, politicians, council etc for success.

Their end game is getting another treble any way they can this season then getting 10 next season. There is no way the Scottish Cup will be shelved, they will find a way to conplete it. They are getting there bit by bit.

Add in an MSM who won't even challenge the blatant fraud and corruption. When Rangers were going for 9IAR all we got was who bad this is for Scottish football.

No.

10 in a row is their ultimate aim and they will stoop to any level to achieve that aim.
A club like no other.

Celtic’s end hand throughout all of the recent was to seize the opportunity of finishing the league without fulfilling all games, eroding their 13 point lead. Lieswell knee there was the possibility of that happening should it have continued, however he wanted it done and entry to the champions league which may or may not require preliminary rounds for season 20/21 ensuring a £30 million windfall. Remember they missed out on that last season having to rely on the Tierney sale. They quite simply need that to sustain the coffers staying full. They've got a huge wage bill to sustain (granted they can sell Edouard etc.) but no one knows what kind of yield can be achieved in transfers post pandemic. They’ll also be found accountable and have pedo payoffs to make too to the victims according to the press. Lieswells plan has ensured funds to continue as normal.

Rangers were apparently only the best of a bad lot in Scotland during our 9 in a row and the media mocked and laughed when we were defeated in Europe. They regularly demeaned our domestic achievements at every turn. Compare and contrast the uncritical Celtc media fan club over the last decade, especially after the predictable thrashings and humiliations they've took in European competition, the 1- 12 demolition by PSG, as example.

Their end game is to take our most successful club in world football title from us. Using and and all means available to them.

As it’s already been pointed out our 9 in a row was deemed worthless by the media up here.It was against inferior opposition etc.We should have been striving for better in Europe and were regularly criticised for early exists. Now compare that to this mobs run.Inferior opposition?Na you can only play what’s in front of you.Crashing out of Europe year in year out?Na gallant and brave I think they have been described as.With our 9 in a row(second one) we played them every season and didn’t need to be gifted the last one.Theirs will forever be tainted.I have believed for a long time they would love to see Scottish football fail so they can say to “uefa please get us out as we are being dragged down”.I don’t think it’s as far fetched as some would think.

To the OP,
They want us (and everything we represent) dead.
That’s their end game.

We, the fans, the club, the team, the manager and the wider non snp supporting/ unionists are not fighting on any kind of level playing field.

As a fan base we get hammered for even the most generous of public efforts, I give you Armed Forces day. It was held against us as triumphalism. The club is constantly denigrated and we can’t even open up a fan zone, the team are hammered by the press in trial by sportscene and every other journalistic edifice, we are denied trophies and decisions by authorities. The manager gets it in the neck even when he is the ultimate professional, callers on Snyde, Sutton etc take continual dogs at his lack of silverware. We know what happens to us from the snp the chip chip chipping away of the union by the plastering of Gaelic signs at ridiculous costs is a faux rebranding exercise that cost tax payers millions.

Celtics end game? Well first they understand the bigger picture and they then load the dice to make sure that whatever happens, EVEN A GLOBAL PANDEMIC, that they will come out of it as winners.

We don’t just face a fight on the park it’s much much bigger than that. We start by sorting out the footballing bias and organisation and in parallel start to win on the park but it’s no easy task.

If only were it a matter of 11 players vs 11.

No.

Their endgame is to win 10 in a row.

If they achieve that, they'll seek to dominate well into double figures. They know we will throw everything we've got at this season, and if we fail, it will leave us in a highly weakened state. We'll also part company with the manager, which means another phase of 'back to the drawing board'.
