How the fck can that be handball?
Mate that was soft ffs! Why? It was handball?
How the fck can that be handball?
does this rule also mean that a penalty will be given if a defending players arm/hand touched the ball in the box?
Nonsense decision. VAR shouldnt be used to micro examine every goal for a millimetre of an offside or a slight ricochet off an arm like that was.
VAR should only be used to correct obvious mistakes by refs and linesmen
Joke of a decision! Why? It was handball?
Aye, at this rate there is no need to have a ref on the park, he just gets in the wayWas that not the lie that was told when it first came in
No it’s only if a goal is scored, even if it’s accidental.
I know its part of the new rules but i wouldnt be a penalty the other way round so it shouldnt be used to rule out a goal. It was never intentional, his hand wasnt unnaturally positioned, it was a natural movement.
Christ mate, do you think that was a deliberate handball ?It hit his hand
Why the fuck are people complaining about VAR reaching the correct decision? It's a clear handball, if we lost a goal like that we'd be raging.
Aye but 4 weeks ago it wasnt handball. If youre going to punish attackers for complete accidents then its utter garbage that defenders can get away with using the exact same incidents to prevent goals. It clearly hit his hand? Lol.
Some people appear not to know the rules anymore.
Jesus was behaving like a right fanny there.
Christ mate, do you think that was a deliberate handball ?
Imagine celebrating a last gasp winner only to have that taken away from you, imagine it in an old firm game? Think it would just about end me!
Christ mate, do you think that was a deliberate handball ?
maybe they dont like the 'new rules'?

Why wasn't there a penalty given to Man City in the first half when Lemela was all over Rodri? One surely can't be subjective when the other is being classified as non negotiable.Ball clearly hit his hand which is an infraction of the new rules. VAR is right again.
It doesn't matter. The rule is, if they gained an advantage by the ball striking an arm, then it's a foul.Christ mate, do you think that was a deliberate handball ?
Too bad. They can not like them whilst accepting the rule was applied correctly.
What does deliberate have to do with it?
i think it’s the wrong decision mate. What does deliberate have to do with it?
Correct decision, it’s hit an arm and under the new rules it’s not a goal .
Unfortunately its Fifas new rules. If the ball touches your hand, no matter how accidental or natural your position, and you end up scoring then its automatically ruled out. That was a disgraceful decision.
Really beginning to hate VAR.

it will probably be changed again anyways once it ruins even more games
I think it’s soft mate, if that was given against us I’d be livid. It doesn't matter. The rule is, if they gained an advantage by the ball striking an arm, then it's a foul.
All part of the age of scrutiny, Orwellian in truth. It’s taking the emotion out of football and it’s completely ruining it, it will get to the stage where fans won’t celebrate a goal until they know it’s legitimate, by then the moment will be long gone.
