Yup, she’s definitely had a wee bit of Rangers in her.....
I was pretty certain he was one of them tbhGood to hear, as I always thought Kiernan was a rattler.
I remember seeing the 70s photo, but as recently as that? Take it that was just a charity match he played in?
Really???Four Weddings And A Funeral star Hugh Grant was one of thousands searching.
He told friends he had been trying to get his hands on tickets for the City of Manchester Stadium.
Grant is a supporter of Fulham and Rangers and is desperate not to miss the Light Blues playing a match of such significance in England.
A source close to the actor said: "He has tried everything. He is not a season ticket-holder but he's a big Rangers man and he does not want to miss them in the UEFA Cup Final, particularly in England

He’s not.He was a pilot that flew the team to a European fixture.Never knew he was a Bear though
The late great James "Jimmy" Reid was a big Rangers fan
I seen him a few times at Ibrox during the early 70's my memory was that the shop stewards in the yards who were members of the Communist Party were almost all Rangers fansWas he? I'd always thought he didn't have much time for either us or them.
Whats the crack with gerry cinnamon? Proddy or poet
I was thinking he was us. Guy at work swore he was a tim. Oh well.Pretty sure he’s a Tim, I know a few folk of that persuasion who know him from Castlemilk.
Great band.
Is there any other Scottish band who were as big in the US as awb.Fantastic band.
Seen them recently at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. They're getting on a bit , but they were absolutely superb.
Great night
Roy's his uncle. His dad, ex- Scotland scrum-half Roy Laidlaw was and still is Rangers daft, named his son after our legend John Greig.
Great youtube clip of them in the US doing Queen of my soul on a Soul train type programme mid 70"s. Its the interview after with the big affro dude and the band just broad Scots. ..pure gold.I had this conversation with a mate of mine recently. Can't think of any other Scottish band that can come anywhere near them with regards to record sales , platinum album after platinum album etc in the USA.
Still a massive draw over in the states & deservedly so.

Eddie Large was born a bluenose and brought up in Oatlands and Hutcheonsontown. Real name Eddie McGinnis.Jim Davidson.
Saw him a few weeks back and he admitted as much on stage. Also said Eddie Large was a bluenose as well as a City fan
Dougie Souness is the voice through all the awful songs on matchdaysThe bass player and Dougie Souness used to sit behind me in the Govan Rear. Dougie always used to wear a half and half Rangers and England Umbro top.

Yes Chelsea daft and a fondness for Rangers like his fatherChelsea fan no?
Correct. Wasn’t until the mid to late 80’s poets started to infiltrate unions. UAEW in fact gave a lot of six week wonders a card at Ardesier when the Boilermakers told them to fk off. Union members were always referred to as Bears. Jimmy Reid was a Bear big time.I seen him a few times at Ibrox during the early 70's my memory was that the shop stewards in the yards who were members of the Communist Party were almost all Rangers fans
Are any of them bands. Would you say the Proclaimers were a band ? Not sure...good post though.Lonnie Donegan

Artists then who made it big in America. Live The Proclaimers are a 5 or 6 piece. The solo artists I named certainly had a band when they played live. Are any of them bands. Would you say the Proclaimers were a band ? Not sure...good post though.
Jim Davidson.

Seems his Dad couldn’t either...Can't stand Suggs.
It’s a shame that it has to be “admitted” more than loudly and proudly proclaimed.Jim Davidson.

Derek lyle at qos is a good rangers man
Marmalade were always my favourite Scots band and THE best to come out of Glasgow. Pretty sure Junior Campbell would have been one of us if asked?
Old Bastard Loyal
im sure (although not 100% sure) he offered to play for free for us when they tried and failed to kill us offthis mark wright
I know Jimmy Reid left religion behind and was probably an atheist, but although he was born near Ibrox wasn't he braised as an RC?Correct. U seen some of the keek names being branded. Hes famous in dumfries. No one from outside mattersOooof!! Close the thread.
He was left wing, but so were most Bears in the 60's, and also a strong trade unionist. He was at Ibrox often and without cheating and going to the Internet I'm pretty sure his funeral was held at Govan Parish Church, attended by Sir Alex Ferguson and other VIP.I know Jimmy Reid left religion behind and was probably an atheist, but although he was born near Ibrox wasn't he braised as an RC?
Surely he was no Rangers man?
He had a humanist funeral or so I read.He was left wing, but so were most Bears in the 60's, and also a strong trade unionist.
