How much was USG away? £700 or so no?With the reasoning behind sports options not running a flight, it certainly sounds like the day trip will be around the same price as the one for USG away.

We played them in 2011.Won 2 tickets for the UEFA Cup final in Eindhoven when Middlesbrough got hammered by Seville. Its a lovely stadium and we just used the train there and back from Amsterdam.
Would love to being this but ironically unable to as working - in Middlesbrough
It will be double that mate.if they do it for 300 odd then they have read the room
Aye mate can’t remember if it was £700 or £750How much was USG away? £700 or so no?
Yeah maybe.. if it makes it cheaper I'm happy. The costs for using Schipol would be high?
They used some totally Mickey Mouse airport out in the middle of nowhere for Leipzig did they not?
If CTM do actually organise a trip it certainly won’t be cheap.Yeah maybe.. if it makes it cheaper I'm happy.
They'd be running at a massive loss doing that price, it won't even be close to £300if they do it for 300 odd then they have read the room
Weeze might be an option, just on the border with Germany I’m sure Ryanair use that airport.Yeah maybe.. if it makes it cheaper I'm happy.
There's a direct flight back to Edinburgh Thursday from there.Weeze might be an option, just on the border with Germany I’m sure Ryanair use that airport.
36 miles away according to maps
The problem seems to be getting to Weeze as it doesn't have much of a link by public transport. According to Google it takes well over 2 hoursThere's a direct flight back to Edinburgh Thursday from there.
Aye, seems a real random place. Not sure what type of people would be using that flight. The problem seems to be getting to Weeze as it doesn't have much of a link by public transport. According to Google it takes well over 2 hours
It was £700.Aye mate can’t remember if it was £700 or £750
I have used Weeze a couple of times for trips. Mainly to Germany e.g. Leipzig.Aye, seems a real random place. Not sure what type of people would be using that flight.
1600ishWhat's the reckoning that the cut off will be for MyGers points? I'm on 1438 and hopeful.
For you guys sakes I hope that's what it is. The reality though is that its August, aircraft aren't easy to source and fuel costs are astronomical. There's no chance it will be £300. I think you will be doing well if it's double that.if they do it for 300 odd then they have read the room
Yes I mind it well a great victory Albertz, I also remember there is a train station next to the groundWe played them in 2011.
Stuck up in away corner with netting across the front, not exactly lovely
Surely not as high as that. Was 1628 initially for USG and it’s nearly double the allocation for PSV. I get demand will probably be a bit higher but still.1600ish
I think the days of £300 daytrips are long gone!if they do it for 300 odd then they have read the room
Demand will be more than double that of USGSurely not as high as that. Was 1628 initially for USG and it’s nearly double the allocation for PSV. I get demand will probably be a bit higher but still.
It's easy enough to get to from the German side but even from venlo which is 30 odd kilometres away it takes ages.Aye, seems a real random place. Not sure what type of people would be using that flight.
Took the car to that with 3 of my mates, drove down overnight to Folkestone, onto the Eurotunnel car train then Calais to Eindhoven, left Falkirk at 9pm and we were in Eindhoven for 11am the next morning. We played them in 2011.
Stuck up in away corner with netting across the front, not exactly lovely
Not with local pickup it won't given the short timeframe and the cost of travel. Throw in issues with the trains heading south too and it isn't as easy as it used to be.Demand will be more than double that of USG
Never considered a couple of those factors tbf. We’ve 4 travelling, 2 high gold who will 99% be sorted, 2 others are silver but hoping that they get sorted. Not with local pickup it won't given the short timeframe and the cost of travel. Throw in issues with the trains heading south too and it isn't as easy as it used to be.
USG had loads of unsold tickets by the looks of it
In a similar situation, I should be good in gold but a mate in silver who may miss on about 1300Never considered a couple of those factors tbf. We’ve 4 travelling, 2 high gold who will 99% be sorted, 2 others are silver but hoping that they get sorted.
Under £400 isn’t realistic at all for this trip. Hence Sport Options pulling the plug. It will be priced similar to the USG game.if they do it for 300 odd then they have read the room
Agreed, the market has changed / inflation etcI think the days of £300 daytrips are long gone!
Brondby, overnighter with Sports Options (you sorted your own hotel) was £299 last November.Agreed, the market has changed / inflation etc
When was the last under £300 anyway? Pre 2012 Surely , 1st Luxembourg day trip was over £300 im sure
The problem seems to be getting to Weeze as it doesn't have much of a link by public transport. According to Google it takes well over 2 hours
why not try run a bus from weeze? 8 seater or moreIt's more than that going back the way I think. 3hrs 40 I seen by train and bus.
Taxi from Eindhoven is €125 euro. It's about 50 miles.
Other option is train to Venlo which is a tenner and taxi from there. Around 25miles from there.
I'm on this route home as mentioned on a previous post. Solo traveler so far so happy to split cost with someone.
Just checked Belgrade was £443 which I actually thought was quite good value considering flight prices to Belgrade.Brondby, overnighter with Sports Options (you sorted your own hotel) was £299 last November.
The daytrip for Bayer Leverkusen (which we never got to go to due to covid)was £349.Just checked Belgrade was £443 which I actually thought was quite good value considering flight prices to Belgrade.
Independent traveller here, what are my chances of getting a ticket for this match on the day of the game in Eindhoven? I havent pursued all channels yet but are there tickets usually to be had before kick-off?
We didn’t even sell all our tickets for usg.. was still 200 or so at ticket collection not allocated! If it’s collection over there which it should everyone needing will get!Not with local pickup it won't given the short timeframe and the cost of travel. Throw in issues with the trains heading south too and it isn't as easy as it used to be.
USG had loads of unsold tickets by the looks of it
Appreciate the response, fingers crossed.I'd normally say very little but, I think anyone that really wants to be at this game, will be.
If you're not in mygers then none.Independent traveller here, what are my chances of getting a ticket for this match on the day of the game in Eindhoven? I havent pursued all channels yet but are there tickets usually to be had before kick-off?
That was in 1999.Yes I mind it well a great victory Albertz, I also remember there is a train station next to the ground

Not sure if you will get a knock back on the day but P1 travel are selling hospitality tickets at €129 eachThanks for your respone. I think it's going to be difficult but I will give ii my best shot.
@OohAhHuistra thoughts?Got on the following flights on Tuesday night after the game:
Monday 19:45 Edinburgh to Amsterdam
Thursday 13:15 Amsterdam to Edinburgh
Both with EasyJet, cost us about £200.
Following a fully blown argument with my boss at my “part-time” job, my holidays have been approved. Just need Rangers to decide to give us any indication as to what’s happening with tickets so that I can start being paranoid about whether or not I’ll get one.
Death trap from what I can remember. We played them in 2011.
Stuck up in away corner with netting across the front, not exactly lovely
He’s panicking. We’re both around the same points he’ll get one and I also agree with short turn around mostly everyone will, especially with people having family holidays, lack of holidays due to last season and short notice in needing holidays haha@OohAhHuistra thoughts?
For what it’s worth, you’ll 100% get one Indy so you’ve no need to panic in the slightest.
I can see it dropping to everyone being offered again in all honesty
Loads of people saying they’ll need to save holidays for group stages which is completely understandableHe’s panicking. We’re both around the same points he’ll get one and I also agree with short turn around mostly everyone will, especially with people having family holidays, lack of holidays due to last season and short notice in needing holidays haha
